One of the best choices we have chosen in Jaffna is popular among guests.
Offering a terrace overlooking the pool, The Thinnai is located in Jaffna. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the hotel. Free private parking is available on site.
All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a BluRay player. Some rooms have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Each room has a private bathroom. Bathrobes and free toiletries are provided.
The hotel has a 24-hour front desk.
Bicycle rental is available. The area is popular for cycling.

+: The location, breakfast, comfortable room with sitting area. Very friendly staffs, bit expensive but I stayed in other hotels in Jaffna paid more but the facilities were minimum compared to This one.

-: The staff's overall demeanour was disappointing and rude, with the exception of the girl who handled our checkout, providing a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, our stay revealed several shortcomings: the toilet was inadequately cleaned and maintained, the restaurant suffered from a lack of menu items and again the staff were rude and the bar service was notably delayed, forcing us to cancel additional orders. A huge restaurant was empty and their planned outdoor dinner no one attended - this shows that no one likes this place. The explanation for the delay was that some staff were new. Furthermore, the man at the reception not only wore a visibly dirty white uniform but was also rude and had an attitude. The quality of the food did not meet our expectations, and the service fell below the standard we anticipated. In contrast, our experience at another hotel, Tilko, for dinner was exceptional in every aspect. This establishment may be suitable for locals on business trips, contractors or government officers who can overlook a less-than-ideal environment. However, it is not recommended for tourists seeking a relaxing and memorable holiday, as the overall atmosphere is marred by unfriendliness and cleanliness issues. Not really worth the price paid for. Despite booking.com taking our credit card details, the hotel insisted on a fair amount of deposit treating us like suspects. Would not recommend. You can find better accommodation nearly half the price elsewhere.
