+: Great design, private, excellent service , great food

+: Beautifully decorated villa placed right on a gorgeous beach. We stayed in a garden twin bed room and absolutely loved it! Rooms was very comfortable, clean and beautiful with a huge bathroom and outdoor shower (as well as indoor). Breakfast was prepared and served at the villa and was really nice but all other meals are brought to you from the sister hotel a few hundred meters down the street. There was a host available at the villa at all times to help you with food orders or any other requirements you might have. The guy who was there during our stay was super friendly, attentive and helpful with anything we needed and really elevated our experience at the villa. The villa itself feels very calm and private and I, together with my husband and 3 year old felt super comfortable, welcome and happy there at all times. The area is also a great base for exploring Mirissa and surrounding areas, away from the hustle and bustle but only a 10 min Tuktuk from Mirissa beach. Can strongly recommend Ubuntu and we would love to go back!

-: To be honest there wasn’t anything that majorly impacted our stay and think the hotel offers great value for money but a few things to be aware of:- As food and drinks are prepped and brought to the villa from the sister hotel, it could sometimes take some time and wasn’t sizzling hot when it came. They should also have an assortment of drinks available at the villa, e.g. to be able to grab a quick beer. - Food was fine and there was a good variety, but I think that’s the only thing that could have been improved for me to give a full 10. - The water right below the villa is very rough and not recommended to swim in. However, the beach was beautiful and very calm so that compensated :) There was places further along the beach were you could take a dip and a short Tuktuk drive away you have places like Turtle beach, Mirissa beach and Secret beach.

+: This place is fantastic for families to relax on the beach. My friends had a great time there, and their experience was wonderful. They loved the cozy accommodations and the friendly staff. Overall, highly recommended for a relaxing getaway with loved ones

+: Liegt direkt am Strand, der Pool war toll. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker auch die BarRestaurant Zephir nebenan war super.

It’s a jewel on Sri Lanka’s coast, promising memories that will last a lifetime. I’m already planning my return to this exquisite escape.

+: Wonderful bedroom, spacious, light and beautifully comfortable. Most comfortable bed of our 3 week trip, with fabulous bed linen. Air conditioning worked brilliantly, not always guaranteed in Sri Lanka! Stunning view of the beach, a truly beautiful view. Very quiet which ensured we slept really well. Staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble - they were exceptional. We liked being a short walk from the Lantern as it was lovely to go there but it meant it was quieter in the villa.

-: Can't really think of anything - it was so fab we returned at the end of the holiday!

+: Everything was amazing, from the service, cleanliness, rooms and the proximity of the beach (it’s just in front). We were falling asleep listening to waves

-: The price of the stay can be a bit less and it would be nice if the object has balcony as the one just next.

+: Die Herrliche Aussieht auf den schönen Strand!! Sehr geräumige zimmer, super bequeme Matratzen!!! Sehr sauber !!Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit, außergewöhnlich freundlich!!! man fühlt sich optimal betreut!! Erwähnenswert ist Herr DANUSHKA, der sich rührend um uns gekümmert hat, er versorgte uns - auch bei Krankheit- mit großer Fürsorge und Anteilnahme!! Er war der Beste !!

-: Das man nicht im Meer schwimmen kann, zu starke Strömung und Brandung!!!
