Located on the beach in Baie du Tombeau, 5.6 mi North of Port Louis, and surrounded by tropical gardens, Cocotiers Hotel offers an outdoor pool and children’s pool. Free WiFi is offered throughout the hotel.
The simply decorated rooms open onto a terrace or balcony with views of the city or beach. Each room contains a TV, mini-bar and air conditioning.
A fresh breakfast is served daily at the restaurant, with its stone walls and open design. Guests can enjoy a drink poolside under the furnished terrace or in the bar overlooking the lagoon. Massages are available upon request.
The games room contains a billiards table, ping pong and dart board and there is snorkeling equipment provided.

+: The breakfast really nice the location was also nice the fact that it’s near the beach . Those offerings services at the hotel that’s the watchman and the receptionists were nice and patient

+: Cute dogs around the hotel
-: The rooms had black mold growing on the walls, we developed a cough.. There were cokroaches and bedbugs all around the room, and the bathroom had a really bad ant infestation. The matress on the bed was dark yellow and orange from the dirt. The beach was small and full of washed up trash. During breakfast we saw mouses running out from the kitchen. The hotel is far away from every nice place in Mauritius so you Will have to spend a lot on the taxi every day since there is nothing to do around this hotel. Just save yourself this nightmare and book a resort. Avoid this place at all costs. It doesnt look like anything on the pictures.

-: Toilet was broken at base so made a noise every time you got up from it. TV didn’t work. Bedside lamps broken. Bed bugs! Pool was empty.

+: Das Abendessen war sehr gut.
-: Der Pool wurde offensichtlich geplant repariert, dies wurde uns erst bei Anreise mitgeteilt. Er wurde auch nicht wie versprochen schnell fertig sondern wir konnten ihn den ganzen Aufenthalt nicht nutzen. Wäre nicht do schlimm gewesen wäre nicht auch der Hotelstrand dreckig und voller Müll gewesen, so dass man auch da nicht baden konnte. Das Personal im Restaurant und von der Reinigung war sehr nett im Gegensatz zur Rezeption, die waren nur freundlich wenn ein Vorgesetzter in der Nähe war. Ohne Auto hätten wir die Tage ohne Abkühlung im Wasser verbringen müssen. Kaffee oder Tee kann man genau eine Stunde am Nachmittag bekommen dann gibts sowas nicht mehr. Dafür fanden wir es stark überteuert, auch die Zimmer sind abgewohnt und das Bad war sehr in die Jahre gekommen.Leider hatte auch in der Nähe kein einziges Restaurant geöffnet, erst in Port Louis gab es was.

-: Pool war nicht in Betrieb. Zimmer wurde nur auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch gereinigt. Abends gab es nur Büffet für 30 Eur u. nicht à la carte.Strand konnte auch nicht genutzt werden, da Zyklonzeit. Es wirkte vieles verwahrlost.

+: The location, the beach, and the garden were very beautiful. The restaurant served a superb breakfast and a delicious dinner, and the bar prepared exotic cocktails. the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
-: The pool was ampty during our stay. On the last day, the staff was missing, the restaurant was closed and there was no breakfast. We never realized what was going on because we were in a rush for an organized boat tour.
