One of the best choices we have selected in the city of Grand Gob. This luxury resort is located on a private beach in the north of Mauritius. There is a freshwater swimming pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. Guests can take a ride on a glass bottom boat. The hotel rooms are decorated in an elegant style.

Grand Hotel LUX * Gaube offers air-conditioned rooms with furnished balconies with panoramic views. The rooms are furnished with wooden furniture. Free Wi-Fi and satellite TV are provided. Some rooms have a kitchenette and a private pool.

+: Hotel piękny, smaczny, wygodny, bardzo dobrej jakości. Niestety ogromnie rozczarowała nas zamulona plaża z glonami i odległość od wszelkich atrakcji na Mauritiusie.

+: Tout juste rentré de la bas tout est facile, le complexe est magnifique,le personnel est adorable et bienveillant et souhaite exaucer toutes nos envies et l’accès pour toutes les activités est facile

-: Hélas la plage est assez étouffante car c’est une petite anse c’est le seul bémol de l’hôtel

+: The facilities, everything is catered for so you don’t even need to leave the resort. I especially liked the kids club optionThe staff is absolutely amazing, always available and go the extra mile.

-: There’s not much variety in the restaurant menus. Pretty much the same across the board including INTI. The cocktail menu is exactly the same at all the restaurants. Made it kind of pointless trying the different restaurants as the menus were similar and didn’t have much variety

+: It has a lot of included activities like water sports. Also they have kids room where you can leave children for hour or two. Food was great

-: Ocean floor is not so good, its something like weed and dirt. You cant see through below 20cm of depth.

-: Wir haben das Hotel mit Vollpension und inkl. Getränke gebucht. Leider konnten wir unverschuldet wegen eines kurzfristigen Einreiseverbotes das Hotel nicht aufsuchen. Wir haben uns bemüht eine Lösung für einen späteren Aufenthalt zu finden. Leider vergeblich, das Hotel hat den bereits im Vorfeld gezahlten, vollen Aufenthaltspreis inkl. der nicht angefallenen Verpflegung und Getränke, ersparte Reinigungskosten usw. einbehalten. Ggf. wurde das Zimmer auch gleich weiter vermietet und der Preis für einen Aufenthalt gleich doppelt abkassiert. Hat ein gutes, renomiertes Hotel bei diesen Preisen solche Praktiken nötig? Bei uns kommen jetzt schon Zweifel auf. Irgendwann werden wir vielleicht Mauritius noch einmal besuchen aber dieses Hotel werden wir bestimmt meiden und das buchungsportal Booking auch, da dieses unser Konto während unseres Urlaubes gesperrt hat und wir so auch nur schwer mit dem Hotel bezüglich der laufenden, offenen Buchung kommunizieren konnten.
