Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa 5* 2024-2025 Mauritius, West Coast

+: Rooms are spacious, private and recently renovated. Staff is friendly.

-: Breakfast is very limited in offering and display is weak. New Year’s Eve mandatory ticket price was €450 per person, which is far too steep a price without alcohol. Not much of a variety as far as F&B options (and unbeknownst to us, men must wear pants at both dining options!) Beach can be cleaned and area can be better displayed. For a 5-star resort, it needs to fine tune several aspects.

+: Resort:Wunderschöne, exclusive und sehr gepflegte, ruhige Anlage direkt am Strand von Flic en Flac.Villa:Außergewöhnliches Resort mit wunderschönen Villen. Diese wurden 2023 frisch renoviert.Die Exclusive Suite Pool Villa hat einen grossen Pool (1.2m tief) und liegt direkt am Strand. Sie ist ausgestattet mit einem grossen Wohnbereich mit separater Toilette, einem grossen Schlafzimmer, einem Ankleidezimmer und einem riesigen Badezimmer mit freihstehnder Badewanne und Aussenbereich inkl. Outdoor Dusche.Von Wohn- und Schlafzimmer hat man Zugang zur grossen Terrasse und dem Pool.Essen:Das Essen im Hauptrestsurant war hervorragend. Frühstück ist a la Carte.Bei Halbpension ist im Hauptrestaurant zum Abendessen ein 3-Gänge Menu (pro Gang mehrere Optionen zur Auswahl) inbegriffen. Alternativ kann man auch andere Speisen auswählen bzw. in den anderen Restaurants essen. Auf das Essen erhält man dann einen Rabatt von 1800 Rupien (entspricht dem Preis des 3-Gänge Menus).Die Auswahl des In-Room Dinings ist gross und das Essen wird erfahrungsgemäß innerhalb von 20 min gebracht.Service:Der Service im gesamten Resort ist hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiter sind ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend.Spa:Während meines Aufenthaltes nutze ich 2x das Spa Angebot ( 1x 2h Massage 1x Peeling, Wrap & 90min Massage). Beide Anwendungen wahren außergewöhnlich. Die Spa Anlage ist sehr gross& schön inkl. beheiztem Außenpool, Dampfbad und Sauna. Die Anlage selbst (Pool, Dampfbad, Sauna etc.) darf jederzeit frei genutzt werden.

+: People were very friendly and helpful, good food, the spa was amazing with a great Ayurvedic doctor. The best place I've ever stayed so far.

+: The locations was excellent with a nice beach without a crowd and with a view of Le Mourne. We thought that the facilities were great as well with the exception of the creaky wooden floors. The patio and plunge pools were beautiful. The restaurant was adequate with some variety acknowledging that we are both picky eaters. The staff was consistently nice and competent.

-: The only significant complaints we have are that the wooden floors were creaky in the room to the point we were concerned we would wake up our significant other if we got up in the night. Bug control was an issue to the point that we would not spend time on our beautiful patio without a significant dousing of repellant. They could have done better with milk alternatives, as none were available, which really limited my wife’s eating choices.
