Located in the UNESCO world biosphere of Baa Atoll, Finolhu provides the ultimate island experience for guests. The rooms are on the ocean, the lagoon or by the beach. Some of the rooms have a private pool. Set in a UNESCO Biosphere reserve, and easily accessible via the domestic Baa Atoll airport or a 30-minutes seaplane ride from Malé.
Finolhu offers elegant dining options, with the Baa Baa Beach Club at its heart where you can relax anytime of the day. Other dining choices are Fish & Crab Shack, located halfway along Finolhu’s 1.1 mi sandbank or the star dining venue Kanusan. The boutique-style Baahaa Grill restaurant celebrates the legendary spice blends of pre-Moorish North Africa, while Milk Bar offers snacks.
The Oceaneers Club is ideal for activities specially created for children. Thunderball is home to a variety of water sports and beach games. The Cove Club is a hub of 10 chandelier-lit, pastel-colored beach Divans that has a fitness center, movement pavilion, outdoor ‘Palm Beach gym’ and a mellow retro revival area where massage is medicinal.
1 OAK Beach Club is the social hub of the resort, with a pool, beach cinema, gamers’ arcade and futuristic rooftop bar, and an extensive activity list includes yoga sessions and kickboxing UFC sessions alongside aquatic adventures from snorkeling to high-octane X Jet Blades
It can be reached by seaplane in just 30-minute from Malé International Airport or by a 15-minute flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport in Baa Atoll followed by a 20-minute speedboat ride.

+: Das Essen ist fantastisch, besonders die Restaurants sind aussergewöhnlich gut. Selten so gut in einem Hotel gegessen.Personal absolut liebenswert und zuvorkommend. Schöne Zimmer mit guter Einrichtung und komfortablen Betten. Tolles Hausriff und schöne Strände.
-: Für unser Verhältnis zu viele Kinder, daher eher für Familien geeignet.Ein Strandabschnitt mit Liegen nur für Erwachsene wäre wünschenswert.Palm Beach für uns am schönsten gewesen, allerdings haben gewisse Familien schon früh am Morgen die liegen mit Sachen belegt, obwohl sie erst 2 Stunden später kamen. Damit will man sich eigentlich nicht in den Ferien herumschlagen müssen.

+: The welcome was incredible and instantly put up into relaxation mode, the service and choice of food was excellent. The colours of the water were so special. Could not have asked for a better honeymoon. We loved every minute. The boat trip to see dolphins was 1010. Everything about this is 5* luxury, we will be recommending to family and friends. Thank you for an amazing stay.

+: It was our second visit to this hotel. Everything remained at the same high level as on our first visit. The villa with sunset and ocean view was lovely. Good maintenance, cleanliness, service - everything was top notch. We felt the care and attention to detail in the hotel. The cuisine was varied, everything is fresh and delicious. Several restaurants with a variety of cuisine. The main advantage of the hotel is a beautiful live reef, in the last days a huge turtle came directly to the villa and was in the lagoon for a few days, it was unforgettable.
