Located in the UNESCO world biosphere of Baa Atoll, Finolhu provides the ultimate island experience for guests. The rooms are on the ocean, the lagoon or by the beach. Other dining choices are Fish & Crab Shack, located halfway along Finolhu’s 1.1 mi sandbank or the star dining venue Kanusan. The boutique-style Baahaa Grill restaurant celebrates the legendary spice blends of pre-Moorish North Africa, while Milk Bar offers snacks.
The Oceaneers Club is ideal for activities specially created for children. Thunderball is home to a variety of water sports and beach games. The Cove Club is a hub of 10 chandelier-lit, pastel-colored beach Divans that has a fitness center, movement pavilion, outdoor ‘Palm Beach gym’ and a mellow retro revival area where massage is medicinal.
1 OAK Beach Club is the social hub of the resort, with a pool, beach cinema, gamers’ arcade and futuristic rooftop bar, and an extensive activity list includes yoga sessions and kickboxing UFC sessions alongside aquatic adventures from snorkeling to high-octane X Jet Blades
It can be reached by seaplane in just 30-minute from Malé International Airport or by a 15-minute flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport in Baa Atoll followed by a 20-minute speedboat ride.

+: Ein großartiges Hotel mit modernem Flair. Aus unserer Sicht mit das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auf den Malediven. Die Pool Villas sind grandious, sehr großzügig gestaltet und mit einer tollen Terrasse und Zugang zu House Reef. Der Service ist durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch unsere Roohu (Butlerin) Ikram war sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit. Die Kulinarik lässt auch keine Wünsche übrig - insb auch die Themenabende im Beach Kitchen sind sehr hochwertig und abwechslungsreich. Bei den Dining Restaurants sticht das Crab Shack auf der tollen Sandbank heraus - jeden Freitag ist auch die White Party dort (unbedingt vor Anreise reservieren). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
-: Es gibt eigtl nichts zu bemängeln. Einzig die Logistik auf dem Rückweg war etwas "mühsam", weil wir trotz Flug am späten Vormittag aus Male bereits um 6 Uhr Check-out machen musste. Am Ende muss man damit aber immer rechnen, wenn die Destination nur per Wasserflugzeug von Male erreichbar ist.

Friendly, caring, and cheerful service, and every little detail of the design is a small masterpiece. The food is of a high standard (each night features a different culinary theme). The sea life simply blew my mind! Fantastic creatures and dreamy landscapes abound. The ocean pool villa became my second home, bringing pure bliss: greeting the sunset, watching ocean waves with a cup of coffee, swimming to my favorite music, and taking aromatic baths. Special thanks to Maria and Ana for being caring, kind, friendly, and cheerful.I'll remember this experience for my whole life!

+: The resort is great value for the wide variety of food and beverage options and activities and facilities. Dive centre has a very competent dive operations. large gym and spa with interesting yoga classes. Water villas are recommended. Staff across the resort do their best to make you feel attended to and welcomed.
-: Some may find it a little far within the Baa atoll to get to Hanifaru Bay but the resort is good value and the benefits outweigh this fact.
