+: We had a fantastic room with a private pool and we LOVED it! The property was a a calm and pleasant place to stay, perfectly located to some bars and restaurants that were walkable in the evening. A private beach and on-site amenities meant that there were plenty of places to sit and relax. The main pool was lovely and the beach bar was a fun place for a drink and snacks. Gilbert and David were great hosts and all the staff were helpful. The location was great - so glad we were on the beach and not in town.

-: Tulum was much more expensive than the other places we had travelled around in the Yucatan, but there were plenty of places to shop and stock up. The rooms were a bit dim, but it did make it feel comfortable too! A couple of extra lights would have been good though, and maybe some more hooks. Breakfast was ample, but the more interesting choices were extra.

+: How private it seemed. The welcome treatment and sunset yoga session was great!

-: The beach was filled with decaying seaweed that caused the property to smell bad. There were also a few decorative ponds that had an odor as well because they needed to be cleaned.

-: Pero cuando reserve , el cuarto tiene ventanas qué pasa el aire natural , lo cual el aire acondicionado no es fuerte y dormimos con mucho calor , la luz del cuarto es mínima, pero realmente lo que NO fue bueno fue el personal de restaurante ( hubo un chico de argentina joven quisiera su nombre que fue el único amable ) de ahí en fuera , necesitan una capacitación para decir SI con gusto . Pedí un Clamato con escarchado con sal y me dicen pero lleva chile , dije queiro sal , pero no se puede lleva chile 😂 esa fue solo una de varias , los meseros les tenía que hablar y venían arrastrando la toalla . Toda la comida platos estuvieron ahí , hasta que me pare de la alberca y los lleve yo . Mis hijos de 12 y 15 años empezaron a jugar en la arena , nada que fuera a ocasionar un problema Y dijo que No podían jugar en la arena .

+: This place is A DREAM!! my husband and I felt like in a different world. I was AMAZING all of it. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we ever go back. Honestly, after seeing some of the hotels around the area (zona hotelera) in our opinion, this hotel is in the top 3 with excellent price-quality balance. Also, very close to other shopsareas (muppet distance, walking no so much).

-: Unfortunately, when we went it was “sargazo” or sea weed season so the beaches were no so clean but that’s nature… nothing to do with the hotel. The did great trying to keep the beaches somehow cleaner tho.Also, it was a hot in the room most of the time (it got a bit better late at night) but is completely understandable with the natural infrastructure (no isolation in the rooms), as it was very hot in Tulum and the AC was having a hard time keeping up. In my opinion, no much that can be done and you gotta put up with that to get this type of experience, otherwise… stay in a big block of concrete😜
