+: The serving wait staff were very good. One felt they went out of their way to help. The cleaning and general ground staff were always friendly and helpful. The spa was good and the staff there very good there. The original architecture of the hotel is really well designed. Wonderful plays of light and shadow. Beaches were nice and kept clean.

-: Our room was not been renovated. Most of the furniture was chipped. No sense of design or comfort. NOT at all the quality level I expect from Westin. When I requested a change , they showed me a room at the same poor quality. Then they offered a potential change but I was out on an excursion so I missed the message which was left in the room phone. The front desk staff were not very customer oriented. It really ruined the tone of what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration and I felt horrible because I choose it. The food was not very good. Used casual dining quite a bit and felt menu options were limited and not very good. Not attractively presented. Even the fine dining locale was poor quality. One special of the day was good and good guacamole and seafood salad.

-: Facility and rooms are “tired” need some deferred maintenance. Parking facilities needs to be clearer, confusing how to get to lobby once you’ve parked and had to climb several stairs. Stairways looked like were for the staff, not guests. Door to level not marked. Need better signage. Didn’t like that had to check out at 10 when check in wasn’t until 4.

-: El desayuno no estaba incluido. No los informaron al momento del checkin ni al momento previo de tomar el desayuno. Luego de tomar solo un cage con leche del desayuno que creimos que estaba incluido como en cualquier hotel de la misma categoria nos informaron que el mismo tenía un costo de 25 dolares por persona.
