-: For an upscale place with an upscale clientele, the payment system is a bit odd. They block an amount on your credit card as most hotels do, but at checkout, they don’t immediately reverse the charge. They then say that it’ll be returned in 5-7 business days. 99% of the hotels I’ve stayed in refund the amount immediately. After I checked out, I stayed at the Hilton Northolme and they didn’t block any amounts on my credit card.
