Enjoying views of the coconut garden and Phangan Island, the unique Amarin Samui Hotel is located on Maenam Beach in Koh Samui. This contemporary hotel features a rooftop pool, free internet and free parking.
Amarin Samui Hotel is a 7-minute walk from the beachfront and a 5-minute drive from the Pier to small islands.
Beautifully presented with stylish furnishings, air-conditioned rooms all come with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and DVD movies. A mini-bar, fridge and freshly cut flowers are included. The large bathrooms have a bathtub.
The hotel can help guests to arrange in-house massage service. The 24-hour front desk provides services like luggage storage, car rentals and tour packages. Guests can stay active at the fitness center.
The main restaurant serves a selection of Thai and international dishes. Cocktails can be enjoyed at Liquid Corner located at the lobby area.

+: The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from many restaurants & cafes, 7-eleven and a short scooter ride or Grab to Fisherman's Village, Chaweng or Lamai, for much broader options. I like how quiet it was in comparison to the more party focused locations. The staff were amazing with check in and check out. The pool was fantastic (and under-utilised by how quiet it was), the room was great with excellent AC and a passable bed (great if you like really firm, which appears to be the norm in my Samui experiences).
-: I think at one point in time, this was a rather grand hotel. Sadly, COVID impacts have meant some of the facilities have been closed and general hotel maintenance and feature updating has not been kept up to date. And as much as I enjoyed my stay, I likely won't stay there again unless there is a refurbishment and the surrounding area becomes alive again. COVID and the lack of tourists meant that Mae Nam walking street and night markets are no longer a thing and many shops are closed up and empty, making other locations more tempting for a stay. And finally, for a hotel that also has a commercial laundry onsite to not offer a laundry service... just strange.

+: Izba bola dobre vybavená, aj s TV a Netflixom! Možnosť upratania izby každý deň a prísun pitnej vody na izbu denne bol super. Bazén na streche v ktorom sme boli stále sami, bol skvelý! Personál bol milý a nápomocný.
-: Hotel vyzeral akoby mal to najlepšie už za sebou. Na obrázkoch na bookingu vyzerá honosnejšie. Nebola tu možnosť raňajok a spustiť Netflix bol niekedy ozajstný oriešok (niekedy to totiž šlo, niekedy nie). Klimatizácia dosť hučala.

+: Das Zimmer war sauber und groß. Das Bett war sehr gut und die Einrichtung war auf dem neuesten Stand.
-: Die Duscheinheit müsste dringend erneuert werden. Ebenso die Möbel auf dem Balkon. Es war nicht möglich auf dem Stuhl zu sitzen ohne sich Holz und Lacksplitter zuzuziehen. Die Aussicht in den vermeintlichen Paradiesgarten war alles andere als schön.

-: To jest trochę starszy hotel, jego położenie jest średnie - przy ruchliwej ulicy. Nie zachęca do spacerów raczej aby gdzieś podjechać.
