+: De locatie en de Spa
-: De resort is te groot , weinig aandacht voor de gasten waardoor de 5 ster benoeming niet terecht is voor ons.

+: Our Angsana One-Bedroom Loft was very big and had two bathrooms. The two balconies offered a nice view over the lagune for sunrise. In the room upstairs was a big bed and a perfect desk. The hotel has different nice pools (one was a 300 m long “channel” around the complex, where you could perfectly swim). The beach just in front of the hotel has free chairs and parasols. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of different tasty food.

+: Breakfast was served on a pontoon, lovely at 7.00 am and served a wide range of foods, lovely Thai food. The staff were so amazing. The gym was very handy to use in the afternoon, air conditioned with a variety of equipments. The beach is priceless for the evening sunset and walking early morning. The beach restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Will return definitely next year. Thank you very much.
-: Only negative but out of our control were the jellyfish in the water which occurred due to the weather conditions we had, been here several times and this was the first to see them. You vould swim but they were around. The alternative was swimming in the Xana pool, which was fine.

+: The entrance to the resort looked lovely, nice gardens and a big reception area. The beach was good with sunbeds although close together and the pool area was nice. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast had plenty of choice, it was better to get a table outside if you could, which overlooked the lake.
-: It all looks beautiful on the website, photos etc but they are obviously out of date. The premier room we had booked was tired and dated, it was really a family room as the sofa area was a pull out bed for children and there were lots of families there. The charging point didn't work and our room overlooked the family pool which was noisy even when it had gone dark. The stairwells, corridors and doors were dirty with age and not what was expected of a 5* resort. The bathroom also needed a refurbishment, very old and small with a shower that you stepped down to, very unusual. The Thai restaurant table was marked with glass rings, the food, both the starter and main course was served luke warm and on cold plates and the staff were so busy we couldn't attract their attention to point this out, so had to eat it. They apologised but it shouldn't have happened. The azura bar we had a snack in was OK but well overpriced for the small amount of salad you got. The reception staff gave us completely wrong information about the shuttle bus which was annoying.Sorry but it certainly didn't meet our expectation, it is a 3* resort charging 5* prices for accommodation, food and drink. Would not recommend.
