The beach can be reached in just minutes. Grand West Sands Resort & Villa Phuket occupies 500 meters of private grounds along Maikhao Beach. It features an aqua park and a spa.

Blue Canyon Country Club and Yacht Heaven Marina are a 20-minute drive from Grand West Sands Resort & Villa Phuket. Phuket International Airport is about 15 minutes away.

+: Součástí areálu hotelu je vodní park, do kterého mají ubytovaní vstup zdarma. Takže když vás omrzí pobyt na pláži (v moři mnoho medůz a žahavý plankton) nebo v přeplněném bazénu s podnapilými ruskými občany, kteří se považují za extra sortu, hlučí a chovají se neurvale, pak je návštěva Splash Water Park skvělá volba.

-: Vždy když vybírám hotel (a dávám si s tím hodně práce), řeším, aby na konci bylo moje hodnocení alespoň 8, ale ideálně 9 a více. V tomto případě jde o absolutní zklamání. Hotel pěkný, ale support špatný. 1) Úklid pokoje - často až po 20:00 hodině, a jen tak, aby se neřeklo. Ručníky jsme museli vysloveně žádat nové. Často neuklizeno vůbec. 2) Po nastěhování do pokoje jsme zjistili, že neodtíká záchod. Hlášeno na recepci, než došel zaměstanec se zvonem, tak to trvalo 36 hodin. Hrůza. Celá situace se opakovala ještě jednou. Opět info na recepci, opět 12 hodin Oprava nastala až v okamžiku, když jsem sdělil recepci, že jim dětské exkrementy donesu až na recepci. Do 10 minut zaměstnanec, do půl minuty vyřešeno. 3) Hotel slouží jako ubytování pro Rusy ze všech ruských cestovek, je třeba s tím počítat :(( 4) Lokalita - je hodně vzdálená od Phuket City (40 km, skoro hodina taxíkem) a tedy i od veškerého programu (Night market, Big Buddha, Tiger Kingdom, Snake farm, Ferry...)

-: The hotel was completely full of guests from an Eastern European country that has been at war for 2 years and is destroying the whole world. Very sad to see the people of this country enjoying their holidays with impunity while their leader is waging the bloodiest war since World War II in Europe.
