+: The idea of having your own private pool behind walls is nothing short of genious. The staff is absolutely super and very service minded.
-: Well, it is quite pricy for the level of standard. The resort is old and dated, worn. The maintainance is poor and things are broken. The door to the pump house (pool) was in pieces, the pump system leaking. It is just sad to be honest. So easy to fix. We could not use the fountain since it was draining the pool. We were forced to fill the pool up several times during our stay. There is this house to the right when you enter the compound. This house is completely neglected. It contains toilets that no longer seem to work. The whole place is so dirty. Just fix it...To the left before entering the compund there is a house that seemingly used to house a gym. This is now empty with only a couple of tables. The owners do not seem to care.Breakfast is poor.Narrow beach but good swimming.Koh Samui is a dirty and not very interesting island and there are so many other beautiful places in Thailand to go to. If you are willing to pay for this, go for it...
