+: The location is exceptional. We loved the island and we loved the beach! It was quiet and peaceful here. The food was quite tasty at the restaurant, but quite a bit pricier than high end hotels in phuket. Burgers were upwards of $20 Canadian, and salmon dishes or anything with prawns were $25+. The breakfast included with your stay each morning was quite nice though. We liked the feel of the resort and the layout, and we enjoyed the complimentary scuba gear and paddle boards on the beach. Staff were very friendly and nice

-: The rooms or rather little bungalows here were in need of some serious work to make this remotely 5 Star. For the price, we expected quite a bit more. The air conditioners do not work well, our first night it only got down to 23.5 degrees in the room, so we went to bed warm and woke up sticky and warm. The second night was better, but the ac never shut off once and it only got down to 22 degrees, not exactly the norm for air conditioned rooms. The doors exiting the villa to the little patio, the front entrance and the outdoor shower all had LARGE air gaps to the outside, meaning warm air, sun, outdoor sounds and bugs were getting into our room. The cicadas outside were so loud multiple times in the morning that we woke up at the Crack of dawn. This has never happened to us before, and if the doors were properly sealed I'm sure it wouldn't have happened! We also woke up many times to buzzing mosquitos and on my second morning I woke up with a large mosquito bite on my face, neck, and multiple on my forearms and 2 on my legs. These were not bites we experienced outside as we wear bug spray and there were no bugs biting, but rather these were ones that got into our room. Disappointing because I swell up from the mosquito bites in thailand so have large welts on face and neck and arms right now and theyre extremely itchy. We always wear bug protection and so to get all these bites while sleeping is frustrating and definitely not what you want to wake up feeling at a resort.Beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable also. All in all, this resort needs to majorly update the rooms to become a 5 star place in our books. The beach and resort itself are nice, but the rooms are seriously lacking quality and comfort. They'd be a 2-3 star room anywhere else, a lot lower quality and comfort than 3 and 4 Star places in Bangkok and phuket even.

+: Der Komfort beginnt schon in Chalong in der Racha Lounge. Der Service, die Freundlichkeit von allen ist außergewöhnlich. Die Zimmer, die Außendusche, die Ausstattung - es fehlt an nichts. Sensationelles Frühstück, bei der Happy Hour sitzt man traumhaft. Abendessen war sehr lecker und das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt für ein 5 Sterne Resort.
