+: Nach dem Trubel in Bangkok war das Rocky's eine Oase der Ruhe. Es ist eine sehr schöne Anlage, mit 2 kleinen Privatstränden und 2 Pools, fern des Trubels. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, lassen keine Wünsche offen, es gibt kostenloses Wasser, selbst eine Strandtasche, Strandschlappen und Sonnenhut werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war toll, sehr vielfältig, darüber hinaus kann man sich Pancakes oder Eier in verschiedenen Variationen kostenlos bestellen. Das Getränk ( Latte, Cappuccino ...) bestellt man beim Kellner und wird einem gebracht. Es gibt den ganzen Tag Essen und Getränke, man sitzt sehr schön am Meer, im offenen Restaurant. Das Hotel bietet verschiedene Events (Grillabend, Cocktail hour...) an. Natürlich ist das Essen im Hotel um ein vielfaches teurer als 'draußen' z.B. in Lamai. Da wir während des restlichen Urlaubs eher Streetfood gegessen haben, war es eine bequeme und gute Abwechslung im Hotel zu essen. Personal ist super freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit. Ich habe den Wäscheservice in Anspruch genommen, hat toll geklappt und war nicht teuer. Mir hat es im Rocky's so gut gefallen, dass ich nochmal zurückgekommen bin (gebucht via Mail an die Rezeption) und mir eine Beachfront Villa gegönnt habe.

-: Bei der Zimmervergabe sollte man aufmerksam sein, wenn man geräuschempfindlich ist, da die Kompressoren der Klimaanlagen in der Anlage brummen. Mein Freund hat das Zimmer gewechselt, da Tür und Badfenster leider nicht schlossen und er mit dem Brummen nicht schlafen konnte. Mir wurde auf Bitten beim Einchecken- unendliche Geduld des Mannes an der Rezeption- ein sehr ruhiges Zimmer gegeben.

+: Super schöne Anlage mitten im Grünen mit wirklichem wunderschönem StrandMeer Panorama. Der Strand vom Hotel ist super sauber. Man hat das Gefühl das man sich in einer kleinen Oase befindet. Super nettes Personal. Die Lage ist ein Traum wenn man seine Ruhe haben will, abends gibt es aber diverse Mögkichkeiten nett essen zu gehen.

-: Leider merkt man, das die Anlage so langsam in Jahre kommt. Zudem war es schade, das bei weitem nicht genug Liegen zur Verfügung stehen. Das essen am Abend, ist eher solide aber wer auf wirklich gute Küche steht, sollte lieber außerhalb essen.

+: The whole setting is lovely, and the room was very spacious and airy with an extremely large bed. Staff were incredibly welcoming and the food both at breakfast and in the event was lovely. Thoroughly recommend.

+: We booked this last minute due to extending our stay in Koh Samui as we had booked the wrong dates for Koh Tao and nothing was left on that island for the dates we wished to travel and I am incredibly glad we did. We absolutely loved Rocky’s resort. From the moment we arrived we felt looked after and at ease. The staff here are second to none and look after each guest so well. We were celebrating our honeymoon and this was the final stop of our month trip around Thailand and they really went the extra mile to make it special for us. The rooms are stunning, we initially were put into the sea view room with plunge pool at the beachfront which was absolutely incredible. The view each morning was stunning and the bed was absolutely huge and comfortable. They provide lots of complimentary things such as 6 bottles of water per day, flip flops, sun hats, nice robes etc. There is 24 hour room service and the food is good quality although not the best food we had during our stay in Thailand it was still delicious but more pricey than outside the resort (but you pay for where you are so we didn’t mind!). The breakfast was very good and worth including. The Spa offered fantastic massages. A real tranquil setting in the more built up busy Koh Samui. We left our 4 day stay and went to stay in nearby Chaweng but very soon returned to spend our final couple of days back at Rocky’s because we much preferred being there and felt more at home and relaxed. Would highly recommend booking here if you wish for a quiet relaxing setting. They put on regular themed evenings such as cocktail night, bbq on the beach with a fire show etc so there is likely something to do of an evening during your stay. However if young and looking to party I’d suggest the Chaweng area but that wasn’t our cup of tea as a couple.
