+: Incredible rooms. Beautiful design throughout. My room was enormous! Laughably big! Very helpful friendly staff.The food was amazing in the breakfast buffet.Great facilities for kids (pool and kids club).The whole place smells amazing. Would come back, without a doubt. Local area has quite a lot there. Close to airport. Poolside service very friendly and easy.

-: A few fittings in the room needed replacing (my shower in the room had bits that were hanging off).Area has a few seedy bars we avoided, but there's LOTS of choice for restaurants etc on the beach, supermarkets close by. Avoid buying anything extra in hotel until you've popped out through the garden exit and been to some of the shops and restaurants on the beach.

+: Mooi hotel, dichtbij luchthaven, goed ontbijt. Mooie kamer en vriendelijk personeel.

+: A beautiful oasis to relax and treat yourself. Prices of drinks, food and treatments are definitely on the expensive side (compared to the rest of Phuket), but all worth it nevertheless. Close to the airport and right on Nai Yang beach which has quite a few cute restaurants and bars to explore at night.

-: The first room we got was incredibly loud (75 dB) due to a row of air conditioning boxes just behind the door. We managed to get a different room, but rooms with such high sound levels should not exist in the first place. Breakfast could have more variety. Location is great for relaxing at a resort, but would not recommend if you're looking to explore around the island.

+: Unique design hotel next to nai yang beach. Excellent food and drink, black ginger is certainly a destination restaurant however all food options excellent including a great breakfast. Hotel never felt too busy and has many pools and areas. They hold special nights too so always something going on. The design is absolutely stunning; every corner has something to see and looks great. Such an attention to detail in the unique design. In terms of room we had a pearl bed suite, this was one of the most memorable rooms we've stayed in. Really cool design. Great activities both paid and free. Hotel also has direct access to a highly professional and great value diving and snorkel centre, and on top of this a great gym. Everything is very easy to access through the hotel app and as expected service is of very high standard. Destination also very good, right next to the beach; hotel had some shortcut private gates out the back which provide direct access. Nai Yang beach itself is great, lots of small restaurants, a bar street and quite a few massage options and nice to go out for morning and sunset walks. Hotel only 10-15mins to Phuket airport so easy travel, and we never really heard any airport noise, aways felt calm on the territory. Generally a relaxed resort area. Hotel good for both families and couples and they manage this very well (eg. Adult areas and adult only pools). We'd definitely like to go back to the Slate.

-: Only minor negative was air con was a bit loud. However we got used to it after a couple of nights.

+: A fantastic retreat that combines industrial design with lush greenery for a unique atmosphere at the hotel. It's well-organized and clean, with a friendly atmosphere where the staff seem to be proud of their workplace. The breakfast was generous and one of the best we've had. The gym was stylish and well-maintained. We will gladly come back!
