+: Staff at restaurant were lovely. Hotel was clean. Entertainment we saw was good. But would have been nice if they shared a schedule so we could have seen more. It's not on everyday so it's a guess.

-: What I can accept: slightly outdated hotel. Not as seen in photographs. Over priced for sure. Annoying: paying all inclusive for a hotel that advertised a restaurant that is not included. Then learning that some drinks are not also included. Not made clear before booking. My husband mentioned my birthday in the booking and they sent a cake the day after as if they forgot. Limited food options. Breakfast exactly the same every day. One poor man making eggs for the whole hotel. Unacceptable: being placed in a room with works being done around it when the hotel is half full. Being woken up at 8am with the noise. I asked if it would continue through out our stay. Woman was very dismissive and was Told someone was to get back to me. They never did. Attempted to chase again the next day.To have the reception not ever picking up the phone so I had to resort to emails. Appreciated offer facial to compensate. Face looks great. It's a shame I had to stop him from keep putting his hands down my shirt. Firstly man or woman, they should always ask before trying to massage my chest. But when he actually touched my nipple I had to place my bad to stop him. He apologised. But honestly I was just fed up. Hade spa services at the Z hotel. Much better experience. Won't be returning or recommending. Only reason you're getting a 2 is because staff in restaurant and bars are lovely. Will be sharing my review online also

+: The ocean view was breathtaking and the beach was clean. The Fisherman Grill, a restaurant affiliated to the hotel was nice as well providing fresh and delicious meals.The beds were comfortable

-: 1. The staff weren't very informative about where we would find certain facilities eg towel station;2. The staff on two occasions barged into our room;3. The response time in dealing with plumbing issues was deplorable. To make matters worse, the handyman employed made and left our room dirty; Also, we lost water 4 times4. The staff had to be told to clean up our room otherwise they wouldn't have;5. The air-conditioning in our room didn't work6. The hotel made it seem like we would have a private balcony but in reality, it was shared.Generally, expected much more from a Mariott establishment

+: The rooms were beautifully appointed and the beds were like fluffy marshmallows. Every day cleaning came and made the beds sprinkled with flowers. The location was amazing, right on the beach and there were plenty of recliners available. We at dinner at the Fisherman's Grill which was also right on the water. It was lovely but the food could have done wih more spices considering where we were.

-: The temperature of the pool water was like a hot bath! Understandably this is beyond their control although I wonder if some sort of shading over the pool might help.
