+: Emplacement superbe. Chambre très sympa avec un super balcon. Plage magnifique. Personnel aux petits soins. L’hôtel offre plein d’activités.

-: Toilettes dans la salle de bain qui fuit. L’eau de la douche se déverse dans toute la salle de bain. Hygiène de la nourriture (crudités, poissons) pas super (problème de digestion).

+: Zanzibar Magic Boutique hotel was the perfect stop on our honeymoon to Zanzibar. The staff were so friendly, the food amazing and the location was right on the beachfront. Matemwe beach is quieter than Nungwi or kendwa but the sea was lovely to swim in.

-: There were a few power cuts but we were told this was for the whole island, not just the hotel.

+: Mi è piaciuto tutto… stanza davvero pulita e confortevole con vista pazzesca sul mare… abbiamo ammirato l’alba… indimenticabile! Staff davvero eccezionale! Ci hanno coccolato e fatto sentire importanti! Posto davvero molto rilassante con pochi turisti! Una dura per corpo e mente!

+: Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and a calm area to relax in the sun. They offer free Kayaking and Bikes.

+: - Next to the ocean- friendly employees - treehouse vibe

-: - Lack of communication when I arrived, no one had organised my room although I informed them, so when I arrived had to wait 2 hours for them to organise the room. Without having the room ready I was told to pay 50% due to early check-in and had to dispute with the manager who after going back and forth agreed to waver the extra charge.-Mosquito nets were not clean informed the lm about the issue 3 times and it still was not resolved as the marks on the net were due to rust from the fan.- The bedding sheets were also not clean - Lack of facilities and entertainment, no tv in the room nor performances in the evening.- Security needs to be more alert especially in the evening as I went on an excursion and arrived at 11.30pm and had to wait for at least 20 minutes before the gate was opened, even calling the phone number no one picks up which shows lack of security and if anything is to happen.

+: The actual hotel and rooms are beautiful. The food at the restaurant is divine and the waiters & waitresses were lovely. Having breakfast with the view of the beach each day was incredible. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well looked after.

-: The location was a bit far out from some of the places we visited. The hotel was quiet, there was no music. This wasn’t a bad thing, it was quite peaceful but if you prefer somewhere with more atmosphere and a vibe then this perhaps wouldn’t be the hotel for you.
