+: I like the style of the units, pool area and the location.

-: I was unhappy with the dishonest behaviour of the staff. Happy hour was advertised but they didn’t have any bar staff on during this time. When they said someone else would make the drinks we asked for a menu. After receiving one drink each, not at all like it should have been and made with their backs to us so we couldn’t see what they put into them they left. We waited for a while before leaving to get dressed to go elsewhere. When I asked for the bill they over charged us and told me I was wrong as the advertised price wasn’t actually the price and then proceeded to tell me we had to pay for two drinks each even though we didn’t receive these. This was on our first afternoon being there. On the second day they came to our room and apologised and said we could have our money back upon check out. Upon check out they then changed their story and told us we could have the difference back only. We told them to keep it as that is not what they said and we told them we would be leaving a bad review. I won’t ever stay their again and will be leaving a google review as well. We asked for a double bed and got given two singles and when we approached them they said give them an hour to fix that. They didn’t fix it so we put the beds together ourselves

+: Other than nearing beach. Literally nothing good in this hotel!

-: Staff mostly don't understand English. Ask them refill the shower gel the staff just came in to teach us how to use a empty shower gel bottle (wow)! Room is constantly filled with bugs. Given a non smoking room. But the hotel guest downstairs chained smoke like crazy and we can smell in our room. Did not ask for house keeping. They just come in without permission when we went out! Hotel tucked in a sleazy dead end alley. Yes you did not read wrongly alley. Car going in and out is tough like no body business. One room aircon constantly leak, toilet without the necessary toothbrush and hand soap. Only 1 power socket! And is non international type! The other room literally needed to boil water in the toilet! The towels are super dirty! By the way if this is 3 stars... Well I have to recheck the standards! Caveat Emptor!

+: Loved the location of this property, although down a short laneway we always felt safe. Close to shops, restaurants & spas. Balconies of every room. AC works well. Breakfast was great (particularly the pancakes!) Staff are always happy to help.

-: Showers were great but id love to see some sort of shower screen to prevent water going everywhere, wasn’t a big deal but worth mentioning. A choice of a lower bed pillow would be great too as the pillows were quite big which caused both myself & daughter to wake up every morning with a sore neck. We asked for lower pillows but it seemed none were available. Cushions on the balcony wooden chairs would be a nice touch.

-: We booked a double room & got 2 singles beds pushed together not the most comfortable to sleep on There are no safes in the room Pool was green at the end of or stay Poolside rooms are not worth the extra money.
