+: Beach was beautiful and staff were very friendly

-: The bathroom did not have any door or curtain

+: The location is in the pretty place by the ocean and I guess you pay mainly for that. Stuff at the bar, restaurant, at the entrance and in the sunbeds area are nice and helpful. Food wasn't bad

-: It's not a hotel's fault but Beach boys in this area are very aggressive, shouting at you and calling you names if you don't want to talk to them. Probably not the advisable location for solo female travelers. It should be clearly noted somewhere that there is a HUGE difference in standard between swimming pool and ocean view rooms. Swimming pool rooms are bad, not 4 star hotel standard, hostel standard at best. They are very small, dark, run down and unpleasant. No room for your stuff, kettle and water had to lay on the ground cause there was no other place to put it. The shower drain was clogged and the shower itself was so small you touch the curtain all the time while showering. I asked for a better room and was moved to the ocean view room, but I had to pay 6000 kenyan shillings for that. Ocean view rooms are more spacious and better, however I found a cockroach in my bed! I told the staff and was told "not to stress so much" . Sorry but there is a lot lacking in customer service here. Have they changed the bedsheets after that, I wouldn't bother to write this review at all, but they didn't. I recognised the stains on the bedsheets that also were previously there (on new bedsheets) that after founding the cockroach they didn't even bother to change the bedsheets. So unfortunately I was too disgusted to sleep in it.

+: Le staff incroyable et la vue

+: Es war alles top! Lage, Personal, Zimmer, Essen, Bar, Strand, Meer - super! Die Beach-Boys kommen auch nicht auf das Hotelgelände. Da gibt es Aufpasser in der Anlageim Garten. Klar, schon irgendwie komisch, aber sonst würde man auf seiner Liege pausenlos mit unschlagbaren Angeboten zugetextet. ;-)

-: Die Beach-Boys, die sich selbst und alles anbieten und super aufdringlich sind, machen den Aufenthalt am Strand anstrengend. Aber das ist weniger Hotel- als Landes-Problem.

+: L’emplacement et l’hôtel en général était beau

-: Nous avons pas le droit de rentrer avec de la nourriture dans l’hôtel, même une bouteille d’eau ils font la chasse. Je trouve ça absurde. Ils veulent nous obliger à manger tout ce qui se trouve dans l’hôtel. Même des petites confiseries dans la chambre, vous n’avez pas le droit

+: I visited the hotel with my parents. We all enjoyed the stay very, very much. Super friendly staff, beautiful bar and restaurant, very close to the beach. Quiet at night, large rooms with very comfy beds. The gymn was also ok, I used it once, dispite the 35 degrees - coz I had justed turned the AC on, one should do that in advance, maybe.

-: My parents got very sick with the stomachs. Not sure if it was connected to cocktails or food.

+: Le petit déjeuner est varié et fait maison. Les chambres sont propres, super vue sur l'océan. Le personnel est très compétent et sympathique.

-: le Lit très haut, pas très pratique mais j'ai vu que ce n'est pas le cas de toutes les chambres.

+: This hotel exceeded our expectations. Staff was really friendly, and hotel room was always clean. Hotel is right on the most amazing beach. There is bar and restaurant with the most AMAZING views. We had most relaxing stay here and will be happily staying here again when back in Kenya.

-: The aircon in the room is blowing cold air straight onto bed, which makes it uncomfortably cold. Some days, the hotel was busy, and there weren't enough umbrellas.

+: Die Anlage war außergewöhnlich. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück phänomenal. Das Zimmer war phantastisch. Absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen wieder...asante sana.
