+: The view from the bungalows was nice, listening to the sea from the balcony was relaxing

-: Palace Mirissa is in need of some updating and cleaning. The pool area has broken wooden slats and tiles though the pool itself was fairly clean. The paths to the bungalows were slippery and dangerous when carrying a backpack. The breakfast was drab compared to every other place that we stayed during our trip to Sri Lanka. The staff didn't interact with you. There was litter around our bungalow and although our bed had been made it didn't feel like the bungalow had been cleaned since the last customer. We decided to cut our stay short and left after the first night. Palace Mirissa obviously has potential, but needs some TLC and work on their staffs communication skills.

+: This could be a really great resort but to many issues saw us leaving early.

-: The property advertised a lot which wasn’t available, no daily cleaning, no restaurant open so we had to go to a sister hotel for breakfast, no room service, no bar, dirty pool, no telephone in room, poor customer service by manager.

+: Nice beach location to be at.

-: It needs to be told that if you are staying anywhere near the Beach of Mirissa you will not sleep because of very very loud music at night. This has been a recurring problem for years. Check other comments on this issue before you decide to book there.

+: Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und großzügig. Sie liegt auf einem Hügel in einem Palmenhain. Unser Bungalow hatte eine wunderschöne Aussicht und war äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch das Bad sehr gut. Alles sehr liebevoll gemacht. Man konnte jederzeit einen Zimmerservice bestellen. Schöner Pool, außerdem kann man die Angebote eines Partnerhotels am Strand nutzen, ca. 250 m entfernt. Der Weg zum Strand ist kurz, mit einem kleinen Berg, was aber nicht schlimm ist. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel sofort weiterempfehlen.
