+: Very neat and clean. The staff were very accommodating, any request would be done within a few minutes. The food in general was delicious. The beach is really nice and clean and the pool is quite big.

-: There weren’t really any activities organized by the hotel so in the evenings it got a bit quiet.

+: Tolle Lage, tolles Hotel, toller Service. Die Poollandschaft und die Gartenanlage sind grosszügig und direkt am wunderschönen Sandstrand gelegen.

-: Der Yoga-Lehrer hat einen super Job gemacht. Unsere Empfehlung ist die folgende: Bieten Sie Yoga entweder draussen oder in einem separaten Raum an. Yoga und Kraft- resp. Sportgeräte im selben Raum passen nicht zusammen.

+: I have stayed in this area 8 times in various hotels and this is definitely the BEST food! I was really impressed with both the buffet and room service in terms of quality and range, especially the egg free breakfasts and labelling on menus. The vegetable lasagne on room service is incredible, highly recommend. Room is clean and plunge pool immaculate, no complaints at all.

-: It's hard to ring room service because the phone is very quiet and impossible to hear each other.

+: Friendly, smiling staff. Good breakfast and dining options with great tasting food. Comfortable bed and well equipped room with attached toilet with tub and a small plunge pool. The surrounding is clean and comfortable. Very appreciative of the free upgrade on one of our rooms.

-: More indooroutdoor activities within the facility (billiard, table tennis, etc.) would be good for longer stay. Room service needs improvement. Beach amenities too.

+: Generally, I loved everything. Perfect location. The staff is very polite friendly and helpful. They try to solve all your problems as quickly as possible. People really work. The hotel is very cozy, quiet with a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent cuisine both in the main restaurant and in the Olive pool bar. All top class chefs. The buffet menu is extremely varied and sophisticated. They harmoniously combine dishes of national and European cuisine. Special thanks to Ganushka, one of the Kitchen manager. Lunches and dinners were held with excellent live music performed by professional musicians. Every day live music in thу lobby. Large and always clean pool. A clean, uncrowded beach within minutes' reach. Special thanks to our curator Chamodi for her professionalism and prompt resolution of all emerging issues.

-: In my opinion, the hotel has 5 disadvantages that are worth paying attention to: 1. Airport transfer prices are unrealistic and unreasonable. Thus, the price of a 115-kilometer trip in a Mercedes C class car is $440. This is more expensive than air travel from Baku to Dubai on a Boeing 747. At the same time, any taxi service at the airport costs 40-60 dollars, depending on your place of residence in Bentota. Thus, the price of a transfer from the hotel is 10 times higher than the actual price!!! The explanation they gave me is the following - a Mercedes C class is a luxury car... albeit a used one...)) I think that this greatly compromises the hotel’s reputation and will scare off visitors. 2. Only management personnel speak sufficient English. Ordinary employees generally know a couple of dozen of the most common words, but out of politeness they will never say that they did not understand you. As a result, misunderstandings often arose due to lack of communication. I had to ask again and clarify several times. The issue of mutual misunderstanding of pronunciation between clients and staff is also acute. Under no circumstances should you speak long sentences. 3. The hotel does not provide any services on the beach. There are absolutely no water sports on the beach. There are no kayaks, no diving, no sailing boats, not even snorkeling. Sun loungers are available for a fee by individuals. 4. The potential of large rooms on the roof of the hotel is not used, although everything there is equipped for relaxation and entertainment. The Roof bar was not functioning, there were no concerts, no parties. This made it a little boring. 5. There are no shops in the hotel except a tiny souvenir shop that tries to stock everything from clothing and souvenirs to razors and soap. There's nowhere to even buy cigarettes. To buy something you have to go outside, losing precious rest time.
