+: The staff at this hotel are truly exceptional - warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. They even welcomed us with a beautiful 'Happy Honeymoon' message on our bed as well as champagne and a fruit basket. The setting is idyllic, with lush tropical gardens surrounding the beautiful cottages. It was truly a joy walking through the gardens. Our cottage was a modern interpretation of traditional Thai architecture and decor, situated a few meters from the beach for a truly romantic experience. Located at the quieter south end of Chaweng Beach, the location is perfect for swimming and sunbathing in peace, yet still close to the action. Imagine fine white sand and turquoise waters, simply delightful and incredibly well maintained by the resort. There were also lots of spare daybeds on each of the days we were there. Just a short walk away, you'll find beach bars, restaurants, and massage parlours. Additionally, the hotel's entrance is conveniently located on a street with a 7-11 and plenty of shops, spas, and dining options. On our last day, the resort very kindly extended our checkout time due to our flight being in the evening. Our cottage was being checked into by another couple on the same day, so the staff kindly moved us to a different cottage until our late check-out time so we were able to make the most of the rest of the day, shower etc. This was a very welcome and kind gesture. Anavana was the ideal blend of tranquility and accessibility for an incredibly romantic and memorable getaway.

-: We would strongly consider returning to the resort with the following improvements: The breakfast buffet needs improvement, with pancakes, bacon, pastries, and French toast not meeting expectations. Coffee, however, is excellent. Dinner was disappointing due to poorly cooked food, but staff promptly addressed the issue. The gym is compact and limited (treadmill, cross-trainer and free weights), lacking a bike which would be a beneficial addition. Despite the beautiful cottage, the bathroom had a persistent sewage smell throughout our stay, and mosquito prevention needs improvement. The faulty door lock required persistence to open the door. Air conditioning broke down but was promptly fixed with complimentary express laundry service. Day bed service could be improved, as we had to go to the bar to place orders. We were also disappointed to find that turn-down service with daily treats, as advertised online, was not provided during our stay. Reinstating this service would definitely enhance the overall experience.

+: Every thing was good almost the same compared to Poppies, the previous name of this small resort on the beach.

-: The quality of service has decreased compared to the one delivered when it was Poppies. They kept some people from the former poppies hotel which was good. The new staff does not speak a slightest word of English. A building next door was on the way to be destroyed which generates a lot of dust and noise between 9 am and 6 pm.

+: Beautiful gardens, cute and comfortable accommodation in individual bungalows. The staff couldn't do enough to help you and were so friendly. Also the street the hotel is located on has several great restaurants and is out of the main, touristy Chaweng area. It's really lovely.

-: The sea is very rough and red flags were out every day, meaning you couldn't go in the water. Also the bar and restaurant are very quiet with not much atmosphere so we always ate elsewhere. Breakfast didn't have much choice but was ok.

+: Die Lage, gute Restaurants, Cafés und Massagestudios in der Nähe, dennoch ist es absolut ruhig. Die Anlage ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Sehr viele Pflanzen, kleine Wasserläufe und ein Teich mit vielen Fischen tragen zum Wohlbefinden bei. Auch die Poolanlage ist schön gestaltet. Die einzelnen kleinen Häuser sind total hübsch. Im Inneren sieht man viele geschmackvolle Details (besonders im Bad).

-: Shuttleservice vom Flughafen war nicht ganz günstig. Das Frühstück hätte etwas umfangreicher und leckerer sein können, war dennoch absolut ok. Leider hat das Strandpersonal nichts dagegen unternommen, dass Leute ihre Liegen haben vorreservieren lassen, was ich ärgerlich fand.

+: Alles!! Aber im besonderen der wunderschöne Garten, der großzügige und schön eingerichtete Bungalow und das äußerst herzliche und zuvorkommende Personal… und natürlich die direkte Strandlage

+: We spent six days at Anavana Beach Resort, and it was truly a vacation we'll remember for a long time. This small resort, with approximately 20 cottages, is located right on the beach, surrounded by lush greenery. The cottages are of a decent size, equipped with air conditioning, a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, and a TV. The bathroom is partially outdoors, and there was always hot water and the water pressure was decent. The beach is beautiful, and there were always enough sun loungers available. Even with occasional rough seas, it was easy to swim in the shallow water.The resort is in immediate proximity to 7-Eleven, massage parlors, pharmacies, and restaurants. If you want to go to Chaweng Central you can easy take a «shared taxi» that runs all the time in the main street. It was convenient and affordable. Breakfast was delicious, and we also enjoyed other meals at the restaurant. The food was tasty and varied.All the staff members were fantastic! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great vacation. We want to thank all the staff for making our stay so special. Hopefully we will be back some day 😊

-: Breakfast not as good as some other hotels we visited. Fitness suite is very basic - an old cross trainer and running machine, a bench, a few weights and mats.
