+: The architectural design and interior furnishings were exceptional. The collection of art and antiques was of the highest level and made me feel I was staying in someone's home rather than a hotel. The meals were excellent and all the staff were professional and helpful.

-: Breakfast was not good took a long time to serve tea coffee took 30 minutes. Doors were difficult to open getting into room as well as cupboard doors and bathroom door. Difficult to get in and out of bed with that big ledge.

-: Service… some staff don’t like their job and that’s noticeable Don’t expect the regular excellent Thai service Toilet amenities fell cheap and aren’t good quality.. please change Booking photo where you present Molton Brown onesThe cherry on top happened at check out when the girl in the Reception wanted to forcibly charge us a beer bought at the supermarket and drank in the room… unbelievable!!!

+: Rachamankha Hotel is located in Chiang Mai old city and is in walkable distance to many temples, shops and cafes in the old city. It is a modern hotel but done in the traditional architecture of Chiang Mai with courtyards and gardens. There are parts of old buuldings like doors and tiles which are reused. We stayed in the two bedroom suite which had its own small patio. The living room is comfortable for a family of four and the two bedrooms are on either sides of the livinv room with the patio opening on the long side. The bedrooms are great places to rest after a day of exploring.

-: Pillows - too hard. We both didn’t sleep great because we found the pillows to be too firm for our liking.
