+: Tolles Luxus-Hotel. Sensationeller Swimming-Pool und wirklich toller Service. Beach-Bereich nett, solage man im Hotel-Bereich ist. Außerhalb total überlaufen und tagsüber Horden von Tagestouristen. Frühstück sensationell. Zimmer bzw. Bungalows lassen keine Wünsche offen. Totaler Luxus pur.

-: Fitness-Studio sehr schwach und erbärmlich für ein Luxus-Hotel. Ich war 3x trainieren und war schwer enttäuscht davon, wie eng es ist und wie wenig Auswahl an Geräten zur Verfügung steht. Service war häufig too much und ständiges Nachfragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist hat mehr genervt, als erfreut. Preise beim Abendessen nicht von dieser Welt und unpassend zum Essen und Service. Ein Glas Wein für 16 EUR und ein mittelmäßiges Steak für 40 EUR sind unverhältnismäßig im Vergleich zu top Essen außerhalb des Hotels für 5-7 EUR. Preise insgesamt vollkommen abgehoben. Ich würde das Hotel aufgrund der Preise nicht noch einmal buchen, obwohl es wirklich wunderschön ist. Aber dem Preis nicht angemessen. Umgebung vom Hotel zwar landschaftlich einmalig, aber deshalb touristisch maximal überlaufen - es ist unfassbar viel Hektik und Lärm von den Longtailbooten überall. Das Hotel ist ein Fake-Paradies inmitten von Massentourismus.

+: Probably one of the most beautiful locations on the planet, especially the two beaches and the swimming pool. You are also very connected to nature here and can see monkeys, hornbills and monitor lizards on a daily basis. Food at the lunch restaurant by the pool was excellent and by far the best on offer at the hotel.

-: Very poor service, particularly in the grotto restaurant. Staff have a very basic grasp of English which is bizarre considering this is one of the most prestigious hotels in Thailand.The staff also had a very concerning approach to hygiene, which was evidenced by the huge amount of insects, particularly mosquitoes. In other 5 star hotels in Thailand we have seen them be very proactive with spraying areas with mosquito repellent, but there was no sign of that here. Also there was an awful smell of monkey poo everywhere, particularly by the pool, which spoiled the experience - however I can understand why this was as it is such a tropical location where you are so connected to nature.The most concerning part of this we encountered was at the Grotto restaurant, a supposed Michelin-grade restaurant (food was very average!). Whilst an enviably beautiful location, the staff had no grasp of basic hygiene. A child dropped a plate of food in the sand and instead of the staff picking up as much as they could, they just buried it in the sand - we couldn’t believe what we saw! There explains the insect problem!

+: We loved everything about our stay here. The accommodation is great, the staff are lovely, and the surrounding nature is breathtaking. The beaches are white and soft, and the limestone cliffs are awesome. We had regular encounters with monkeys, birds, water monitors and more. We attended a delicious buffet at the Grotto, and breakfast was of a high standard. Just along the beach is a small village with places to eat and drink. If you get up early, you will find paradise with empty beaches and still waters.

-: I wouldn't say we disliked anything. Food and drink are a little pricey, but you can eat out of the resort if you like. The bed creaked a little on one side, but that's it really.

+: Le site est incroyable ! Très belle piscine

-: Les 2 plages de cet hôtel sont envahies toute la journée par des centaines de touristes. Bruit incessant des bateaux qui déversent les gens …Pas de parasol du tout sur les transats , et les prix des restaurants et des extras trop élevés

+: La beauté de l’hôtel immergée dans une végétation luxuriante. Le confort de la villa. La plage de Phranang magnifique et celle de Railay d’où l’on peut prendre un long tail boat pour aller à Ao Nang. Les restaurants tous délicieux ( mention spéciale au restaurant thaï et a la soirée buffet dans la grotte). Le petit déjeuner très copieux. Et surtout la qualité exceptionnelle du service partout et tout le temps. Une petite erreur au moment de la réservation nous a valu le transfert depuis l’aéroport et un dîner offerts. Bravo à toute l’équipe et à Lek en particulier pour son accueil chaleureux !

+: Perfect location and the beautiful nature makes this hotel top hotel in Thailand. The staff was really-really nice , not just pretending the kindness. The breakfast was superb! My favourite spot was the beach lounge under the trees (umbrella beach) near the Grotto restaurant. Do not miss the thai cooking class!

-: The famous Railay beach is very overcrowded and noisy during the daytime. No seaview from the rooms. The bungalow pavilons are located in the middle of the nature garden , 5 min walk from the beaches.
