Один из лучших вариантов, выбранных нами в городе Стамбул. Отель Decamondo с баром и террасой расположен в Стамбуле, в 200 м от Галатской башни и в 1,6 км от Египетского базара. К услугам гостей ресторан, круглосуточная стойка регистрации и бесплатный Wi-Fi. Осуществляется доставка еды и напитков в номер. Гостям предоставляются услуги консьержа, билетной кассы и обмена валюты.
Каждое утро в отеле подают континентальный и завтрак по меню.
В отеле работает экскурсионное бюро и пункт проката автомобилей, а в бизнес-центре предоставляются газеты.
Отель Decamondo находится в 2,3 км от мечети Сулеймание и в 2,5 км от площади Таксим. Расстояние до ближайшего аэропорта Стамбула составляет 38 км. За дополнительную плату организуется трансфер от/до аэропорта.

+: The location of the hotel is excellent, just a very short walk to the famed Galata tower and to the Karakoy T1 tram station and the Funicular train to BeyogluTaksim square. Visiting the highlights of Istanbul like SultanAhmet, Dolmabache palace, Istiklal Cadd and Taksim square is a breeze from here. The front desk was courteous and helped as requested. We got a back facing room so there wasent really much of a view from the room. It did not bother us much since we really spent all of our time outdoors, but for those who would want to spend some more time in the room, that might be a factor. The area is very touristy and therefore home to similar other hotels and restaurants prices do tend to be higher for the same items as seen elsewhere. I wish the area had some more food options, outside of bakeriescafes and sit down restaurants in hotels. Overall there are no complaints and I can recommend this property for those looking to be in the Karakoy neighborhood or close to the Galata tower.
-: Nothing in particular was wrong, but the rates could have been a touch more competitive. I wish the room was just a little larger in size to accommodate our family. The room AC is centrally controlled, so that might become an issue sometimes if you and neighboring rooms have very different selections for temperature settings. The front desk can try to help, but be aware. Please note there is a large flight of stairs that one needs to take from the main street level to access this property by foot when taking walking tours in and out of the hotel. That applies in general to the Galata tower area, so those having difficulties with walkingclimbing steep roads and steps should take note. (CarsCab can access the hotel, so not to worry about that)
