+: The breakfast is wonderful and great views of the Bosporus. Lots to choose from food wise.

+: The front desk staff, the restaurant staff – the entire team at the hotel go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The hotel is very authentic, with beautiful marble, staircases and other beautiful touches. Stay in a CVU room with a balcony, it’s magical! And, the location can’t be beat!

-: Wish they had an elevator, but the staff was more than happy to help with your luggage!

+: Location is good. Hotel have good views of the Blue mosque and the sea. being close to the small bazar next to the blue mosque is good. hotel very accessible. Taxis arrive easily. Breakfast is ok generally speaking. Staff in restaurant were very friendly.

-: Rooms are small. Room balcony opens directly on a public parking spot (it has good views of the mosque and the sea on the sides) Hotel is not flexible: we were only given one card for the room for 2 people. although we asked for a second one our request was rejected. Asked for extra time for checkout beyond 1 pm, but request was not accepted either (we understand that they might have been busy). Cleaning of the rooms only happens in the morning. If u miss it for any reason the room will be cleaned the next day. Rooms are kind of outdated. Bathroom is very small and the amenities are basic. No lift but only 2 floors.

+: Location with easy walking distance to Hippodrome and tram, across the road to Arasta Bazaar; buffet breakfast was extensive with attentive staff; charming well maintained period decor; beautiful manicured gardens; outside sitting area available for eating breakfast; friendly and accommodating staff.

-: Bedding consisted of a bottom sheet and a small top sheet which didn’t really fit a double bed with 2 people, so bedding could have been more generous.

+: perfect location, friendly staff, very nice breakfast

-: my room was a bit tight but satisfied my wish for view from my private balcony
