+: The bedrooms were lovely with massive beds and aircon. They cleaned everyday however not all the cleaners cleaned properly especially the last day, no cleaning was done, they just made the bed and left. They did not wash the glasses or ensure that everything was in order.Staff were great, friendly and polite except for one or two who had an attitude,otherwise most of them tried to give us a pleasant stay on limited resources.

-: The restaurant did not have a variety at all, even the limited list on the menu was never available. It seems they had to look and offer whatever was available which was eggs and pancakes and chapati. The juice was always warm and did not taste good at all. The annoying part was that even if the breakfast menu was so limited and mostly lacked the basics, they still charged $15 a plate. One morning my friend had warm water and a piece of lime, they said it was $2 for the piece of lime. Another time we had to wait for someone to go and buy milk otherwise it would have been coffee no milk but still pay the same price. The toilets were leaking after a shower and I only had hot water on the first 2 days after that it was all cold water through out.This location of this hotel is brilliant but the place is not being done any justice. A few things could be improved such as the menu and entertainment. We had to stop eating at the hotel after two days due to a very very limited choice.

+: Excellent hotel with serene beach . UNESCO world heritage site if you value such things then you would love the surrounding. Staff, breakfast and housekeeping top.

-: WiFi didn’t work

+: The location is excellent; management and staff were very good and attentive; enjoyed the SPA and my morning walks accompanied by the resident dogs (who are taken care of by the resort) was relaxing and fun!

-: Restaurant service has room for improvement and consistency with the menu should be worked on; maintenance and improvements of the resort should be high on the priority of the new management.

-: very late check-in time, upon arrival a request for extra money, rooms without an ocean view, food in the restaurant expensive and not tasty. I recommend the hotel next door, a lot of mosquitoes,rooms very dark without sunlight

+: The location & restaurant have good ocean views… the masai & other local staff were very nice too.

-: Their internet was not working!! For more than 24hrs the interner was unstable and I had to make arrangements with a local to bring me a phone to link and get internet but I found the owners of the hotel - Raman rude even racist baring the stay of the couple assissting me to sort out the internet issue!! Oh, this was after offering me a free massage!! A massage cannot fix poor internet!! If I knew he’s be so unprofessional about dealing with my alteranative solution I would not have taken the “free” massage!

+: Piękny ogród z malowniczymi ruinami. Dobre miejsce wypadowe do Stone Town i wyspę Chumbe. Blisko lotnisko.

-: Zdjęcia zamieszczone na Booking nie odzwierciedlają aktualnego stanu hotelu. Pokoje wymagają remontu. W pokoju na parterze, który dostaliśmy był mocny odór pleśni. Po powrocie kilkukrotnie musieliśmy prać ubrania żeby usunąć ten smród. Zmieniliśmy pokój na inny na pierwszy piętrze ale nie był dużo lepszy, przynajmniej był ładniejszy widok. Śniadanie to jest dramat, praktycznie nie ma co jeść. W restauracji bardzo drogo, wybór dań jest niewielki a czasem nie ma nawet tego co jest w menu. WiFi działa słabo a często wcale. Widać, że hotel jest nastawiony na krótki pobyt gości (max 1-2 dni), którzy zanim się zorientują w co wdepnęli to już go opuszczają i więcej nie wrócą. My byliśmy tam stanowczo za długo.

+: Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jungle Paradise. Solo traveller and felt very comfortable and safe; staff very attentive - not sure of names but Receptionist was so helpful and friendly and really looked after me- also restaurant staff extremely nice and friendly. Room was spacious and super clean with very comfortable bed and nice balcony with gardensea view. Used the restaurant throughout stay and all meals were fresh and delicious and good value for money. Lots of options for breakfast which was plentiful. Beach was lovely and no problem getting sunbed. Didn't use pool but it looked decent.

-: Aircon was pretty noisy and woke me up first night but seemed to sort itself out. There were cats around the restaurant which is nice but can be off putting when they get on the table and chairs staring at you eating ready to pounce! Few more candles at night in the restaurant would be nice as hard to read menu and see your food.

-: Die Bademöglichkeit im Meer ist wegen der Mangroven nicht optimal. Man daher auf den Pool ausweichen.
