+: Hôtel très propre. Animations tous les soirs. Dîners sur la plage. Hôtel de taille humaine. Personnel très agréables.

-: Le mer peu profonde quand elle était là et on ne l'a voyait pas tous les jours.

+: The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and very clean. I loved the African touch of the room too which gave it a different look to the usual modern hotels. We went for the all-inclusive stay and never had a chance to have the lunch menu due to excursions but the food options for breakfast and dinner were good. The thing that I loved the most were the staff. I’ve never been to a hotel with such lovely and welcoming staff. They were also very attentive; I always felt that my needs were taken into consideration. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking to visit Zanzibar!

-: Just a minor but I would have hoped for more meat-based options in the buffet but the food options available were great!

+: We thought the food was very good, especially for a buffet service. There was a good choice and the quality and taste was very good including the barbeque on the beach Tuesdays and Saturdays. The staff were very friendly and we liked the ambience at all the evening meals.

-: All inclusive did not include some cocktails nor fresh juices, which was not good value. Although we had read about the low tides, we were disappointed that there were few opportunities to swim in the sea. I think there should be more effort to clean the seaweed from the beach, as it didn't look great.

+: Bel hotel, récent. Chambres grandes, belles, propres et confortables. Bonne literie. Personnel adorable et souriant, aux petits soins. Nourriture assez variée sur une semaine pour un buffet, et de qualité (sauf peut etre les desserts peu inspirants). Très belle piscine salée. Les soirées sur la plage samedi et mardi sont très sympas. Le bar dans la piscine aussi ! (même s'il était envahi toute la semaine par des polonais et Tcheques qui buvaient de l'alcool du matin au soir).

-: L'hôtel est situé dans une baie et, avec les marées, il n'est pas possible (ou très rarement) de profiter de la mer qui est très éloignée. C'est le seul hic de ce bel hôtel. Si vous venez à Zanzibar pour la plage, ce n'est pas au Toa que vous la trouverez, et les belles plages sont assez éloignées en voiture (mini 40 minutes). La plage la plus proche est à 15 minutes à pied par le front de mer. Peu de choses à faire en dehors de l'hôtel au village de Pongwe mais l'hôtel propose de belles excursions. Connexion Wifi très aléatoire, pas suffisante pour télétravailler. La chambre "vue mer" achetée etait finalement une "vue mur" avec partiellement une "petite vue mer" au bout du balcon, mais l'hotel nous a fait bénéficier en contrepartie d'un surclassement de chambre et d'un all inclusive versus un half pension.

+: alles sehr sauber, gute Hotelqualität, sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Mitarbeitende, Frühstück umfangreich, Abendessen gutes Buffet, nur wenig A-La-Carte

-: situativ etwas wenige Liegestühle und Schattenplätze, welche teilweise durch "Frühaufsteher" sofort reserviert wurden

+: It was better than I expected - the rooms was spacious and the food was great.

-: Singurul lucru care ne-a creat un mic disconfort sa zic asa, este izolarea fonica. In camera cu jacuzii, usa exterioara nu era izolata fonica deloc, se auzea orice zgomot il faceau vecinii de vis a vis cand intrauieseau din camera.
