Hotel Akka Antedon 5*

+: I was highly impressed how the cleanliness was maintained. After each meal the personal quickly took care of the tables and prepared it for new guests. The same attention was noticed over the territory in general. Another good part you have a lot of trees around the territory and even some dropping the shade on the outdoor pool! It is so nice and I never seen that before. The kids club which works from early morning to late night is very convenient. We didn’t use it even for 30 percent of the time but at least we had a comfort knowing that we could leave the kid at each moment she wanted to play there. And in the afternoon they had some fun activities altogether next to the pools: playing pirates, water sports, etc. The hotel is highly recommended for families with kids.

-: The only disappointment I found is QR code menus next to the pools. I understand and relate to reducing the paper in the hotel building however I do not have my phone on hand at any point in time in all-inclusive hotel, especially next to the pool bars.

+: 1) Very nice staff at reception and management 2) Fresh rooms with nice renovation, pleasure to stay3) Good main restaurant: seats, menu, food4) Amazing view to the mountains or sea5) Very clean sea!6) Absolutely enough space (no need to book sun beds in the morning, wait in the restaurant, etc.)7) Looks like there is great entertainment and care for kids (we don’t have kids but this assumption is based on the observation of the area, animators, kids room availability, etc.)8) A lot of small extras like free drinks, ice cream, snacks all around the area9) The bar in the lobby is exceptional good: very relaxing atmosphere and the drinks are 101010) the hotel supports homeless or old cats, so there are plenty of very nice cats all around (they are marked and taken care of)

-: 1) On the beach every day at least once an hour there will be somebody who tries to sell you smth (water sports, excursion, spa, jewellery, shopping tours, etc.) — super annoying and disturbing 2) The cleaning in the rooms is 1 out of 10: the floors are not cleaned, bed sheets changed once in a few days and even if you put a plate that you’d like it to be changed, your request will be respectfully ignored; very often the cleaning happened after lunch, when you are tired and want to relaxed, or even in the evening (in this case missing the point of cleaning)3) in the evening pretty noisy from the disco, also there is a mosque very close by, so be ready to hear prayers in a loud speaker 5 times a day from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. approx. 4) even though the hotel is freshly renovated, on the second day we had a small flood due to a leaking air conditioner. The room was replaced quickly, but the situation is still unpleasant, and we spent time on technicians, talking to staff and moving things. The staff reaction was great and supportive though, so it made the experience as good as possible in this situation5) the floor around swimming pool area is extremely slippery and unfortunately there is no any protection (for example, rubber mats). Every day we saw people sliding, and my boyfriend slipped very badly and twisted his finger (we had to go to the medical center at the hotel)
