+: We stayed as a family and enjoyed everything. The staff were excellent and friendly, the breakfasts were delicious, the room was spacious and comfortable, with stunning views of the Bosphorus. It takes 30-50 minutes by taxi to reach the historic center of Istanbul, depending on traffic. Once, we needed a scale to weigh our luggage, and it was delivered to our room within 5 minutes. The spa complex was also very good. One morning, we overslept and missed breakfast, so we ordered it to the room for an additional charge. We also frequently ordered tea and drinks to the room. Upon checkout, the hotel kindly waived the charges for these orders as a complimentary gesture.

+: Clean, wooden floors and modern furniture. Spacious rooms and bathrooms with all reasonably expected facilities. Beautiful views of the Bosporus. Excellent staff and service.

-: For those unable to sleep unless the room is dark, the lack of blackout curtains is a major problem. Also, location-wise one needs to keep in mind that it’s a good 30’ drive to the centre of the city.
