Located in Cabarete, El Maginifico is a beautiful beachfront ApartHotel just 8 km away from Encuentro Beach which offers free Wi-Fi access, free parking and a hot tub. The air-conditioned apartments at El Maginifico feature a balcony with a wiew of the sea, a cable TV, and a refridgerator. Private bathrooms with a shower and a seating area are also included. Restaurants and markets can be easily found along the Oceanside road within a 5-minute walk and nightlife in Cabarete is an exciting mix of Oceanside bars with live music and DJs playing merengue and other tropical rhythms. +: - Beautiful- Good beach, pool and jacuzzi - Nice staff- Good location, close to restaurants, bars and other places- Very peaceful
-: - Jacuzzi way too hot- Open bathrooms with no privacy in the standard room- No iron, ironing board or blower in the room- No good blackout for the windows, resulting in too much light getting in very early in the morning - No full body mirror in the room- Few parking spots- There’s a cemetery right next to the hotel, resulting in an unsettling sight

+: Sin desperdicios, a pesar de que el clima para un ambiente de playa estuvo lluvioso gran parte de nuestra estancia, esta estancia nunca deja de asombrarme, la tranquilidad, lo acogedor, sus espacios, siempre un placer regresar.

+: place is beautiful, the grounds are well-kept and access to the ocean and the pool is great. View from the second balcony was fabulous. Staff were very helpful with the problems I had with the unit. Would definitely stay again but not in that unit.
-: Unit was not well-maintained. Besides the large spider living in the bedroom, there was no wifi when I arrived which meant no TV (staff fixed this the next day), very limited cooking equipment, no microwave, kettle or toaster oven, fan in bedroom squeaked when it turned, kitchen sink leaked.
