Some units feature a dining area and/or terrace. There is also a kitchen, fitted with an oven, toaster and fridge. A stovetop is also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Every unit has a private bathroom with a shower, bathrobes, and slippers. Bed linen is featured. Bike hire is available at the property and the area is popular for cycling and hiking. A swimming pool is located right across the property. Agios Dimitrios Church is 600 metres from Athina Apartments Platanias. The nearest airport is Chania International Airport, 21 km from the property.

+: Beliggenhet. Air-conditioni alle rom. Fin leilighet.
-: Lite kontakt med utleier. Manglet grunnleggende informasjon om leiligheten om varmtvann, toaletter (ikke tillatt med toalettpapir i do). Listen over fasiliteter tilknyttet leiligheten på booking.com sier tilgang på pool. Det er det ikke. Det er ikke bra når man forventer å ha betalt for noe som man ikke får.

+: Appartamento accogliente, consigliato per chi desidera vita notturna, per chi predilige la tranquillità non lo consiglierei. Ottimo il servizio di cambio biancheria.
-: Al nostro arrivo la pulizia dell appartamento non era impeccabile, (zona cucina da migliorare). Il parcheggio andrebbe localizzato con un cartello per Athina perché abbiamo avuto qualche problema poi risolto, sarebbe una soluzione ottimale trovare un referente il giorno dell'ingresso alla struttura.

+: Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und wurden alle zwei Tage gereinigt. MIt der Reinigung wurden auch frische Handtücher ausgelegt. Tolle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter über die Nachrichtenoption bei Booking.com. Vom Balkon konnte man das Meer sehen. In der Nachbarstraße ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz direkt am Hafen. Dort haben wir ohne Probleme immer wieder einen Parkplatz bekommen.
-: Etwas schwierig war die Suche nach dem Appartment nach der Ankunft. Als Ortsunkundige haben wir mitten in der Nacht nach dem Appartment gesucht. Ein freundlicher Hotelangestellter in einer der vielen Seitenstraßen hat uns bei der Suche geholfen. Hier empfiehlt sich die Anreise derart, dass man noch im Hellen suchen kann :-)

+: Apartment centrally situated with a lot of restaurants and shops next door. Good choice of restaurants at different levels. Regular bus service is a great plus. Buses can be very full some times and may pass without stopping.
-: Aldos wife stayed in the flat with a friend: Difficult to get in touch with host before departure. We were promised transport from Chania airport on arrival. No one turned up. Lack of basic information in the flat about how to get hot water. No password for Wi Fi. We had to wait until next day afternoon to get it. Noisy resident during night time in one of the flats on the ground floor. The flat was clean and well equipped with cooker, water boiler, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine. Be aware it is over two floors with a steep staircase . Not suitable for families with small children or elderly people. Information given on net site about Athina apartments is the same for all the Athina properties and everything does not apply for the apartments. E.g. no safe box, no bathrobes etc.
