+: This place is nothing like the pics. It's rundown and smells. We had booked and paid and stayed 2 hours and had a terrible lunch before deciding to go back into the city and stay elsewhere. The staff did offered a room upgrade but we didn't want to stay. We also didn't get the room we paid for. The surrounding area is dirty and rubbish everywhere it cost $20usd to get to the city one way via the hotel. When you get the food and drink bill, there are additional charges come on the bill and not a small amount.
-: The place is run down and smells The food is awful and comes with additional charges. It's miles from anything and the surrounding area is full of rubbish and rough. You don't get the room you pay for. We stayed 2 hours and list 2 nights accomodation to stay elsewhere.

+: Nice place. Lovely and quiet. Big pool and heaps of space. Food was good and plentiful. The outdoors bar beyond the pool and toward the beach was a beautiful spot to spend a few minutes after a hectic day in Colombo.
-: The property was showing a little bit of wear and could do with a few more indoor plants, paintings, and decorations. But they were only minor considerations.
