+: We stayed at the Emerald for a week at the end of July as part of our honeymoon. The service at the Emerald Maldives was exceptional and this is what really makes the resort stand out. Especially the help given to us by Wisham, who was on call to help with anything we needed and really went the extra mile to make our stay special. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us. We loved the different options for dinner, with a variety of restaurants and the drinks and cocktails were great- Anthony on hand to make anything we wanted at the Sunset Bar. The house reef was great for snorkelling. We also chose to do some private excursions and Giulia was a great guide. We managed to swim with Mantas, which was a magical experience and also got to see Dolphins and swim with turtles and sharks. Thank you to everyone who made it such a lovely trip for us both! I’d thoroughly recommend the Emerald if you are planning to travel to the Maldives.

+: This is by far the best place we have ever stayed. I looked at alot of resorts for our stay in the Maldives and was triggered by all the good reviews. And we are so glad we stayed here. The communication with the hotel on payment, seaplane and other details went really smooth, no surprises or inconvenience at all. The island is beautiful en has everything you need. Our host was amazing and took care of our daily planning. If we needed a buggy or had any other request she would help us out right away. We have a 6 year old and we chose the beach villa which was perfect for us. They have bikes for everyone, all ages. We were amazed how child friendly this resort is. This is the first kidsclub where we felt comfortable to leave our daughter. The staff took really good care of her. She couldnt understand english but the staff used a translating app. It was also not a problem for us parents to hang out with her at the kidsclub. The food is exceptional! And the chefs will go out of there way if you have a special request. All drinks are available in the all in arrangement. We could have stayed here for a long long time. The villa's are cleaned twice a day and look just like the pictures. The beaches are clean and maintained. The staff works really hard to give you the best experience and is kind and thoughtful. Its 45 min from Malé with seaplane and the transfer went really smooth. They have a very luxurious lounge at Malé where we were able to eatdrink something and freshen up. This made the trip so comfortable. This stay was everything we imagined it would be but also sooo much more.

-: That we had to leave this beautiful place! Was a bit worried that the weather would not be great during summer but luckily we only had 1,5 days with alot of rain during our stay. During those days its best to use the spa and kids can enjoy themselves in the kidsclub.

+: Its was very clean well maintain they left no stone unturned. Anything u ask for they went out they way to make It happen.

-: Well the food menu could have switch from day to day the Aqua restaurant was outstanding but its was only open once the six day I was there for dinner.
