+: Desde el momento que llegas te sientes en el paraíso. El trato del personal es excepcional desde recepción, todos los chefs y personal de restaurante, los chicos del bar de la piscina, las excursiones, todo el personal es súper amable e intentar siempre agradarte y hacer que tu estancia sea excelente. El arrecife está vivo y hay una gran variedad de peces, algunas tortugas y tiburones de arrecife. Las excursiones de Mantas Raya, tiburón ballena y tortugas son una maravilla. Pudimos ver a las Mantas nadando con nosotros tranquilamente y con el tiburón ballena pudimos nadar unos 2 minutos con los dos que vimos. La arena de playa y los colores del mar te dejan simplemente con la boca abierta en cuento llegas.

-: Lo única pega que les pondría sería la bbq en la playa que pagamos 200 usd para tener lo mismo que el buffet dos días más tarde. No valió la pena

+: Our stay at Nova was wonderful. The resort and its surroundings were very stunning. The sea was indescribably beautiful. The transfer from the airport was very well organized. All the facilities, activities were great and the offerings were varied. There were a lot of food options. Even if we wanted to taste specific specialties, it was cooked especially for us by our chef. All the staff were very friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable. They tried to fulfill every wish in the best possible way and were very attentive. I would especially like to thank Heidi, Chef Evinda, Chef Bee, Chef James, Jaleel, Eemaze (two), Jalim, Haidee, Kadek, Ali, Naida and all the other crew members (e.g. for housekeeping, etc. sorry I have forgotten some of the names). This stay was unforgettable. Thank you Nova!

-: I was not informed that I had to take a seaplane to reach this place, which costs $460 per person. I received an email about these details only after making the payment, which is not refundable.

+: Il resort è estremante bello, rilassante, le spiagge sono quasi sempre deserte e tutto è davvero ben curato. Noi eravamo nella stanza 121, la cui posizione è ottima, la spiaggia davanti è larga e c’è privacy rispetto ad altre che abbiamo visto.Il cibo e il personale a Soul Kitchen (il ristorante principale) è eccellente. Io avendo problemi di intolleranze mi sono sentita sicura e coccolata: gli chef James e Evinda mi hanno ascoltata e hanno preparato per me piatti personalizzati per farmi sentire a casa e libera di poter mangiare come se non avessi nessuna intolleranza.Il servizio di diving è stato altrettanto eccellente: grazie a Moosa, Aghi e Nika abbiamo esplorato reef e thila attorno al resort davvero belli, visto mante e squalo balena e tante altre meraviglie dell’oceano.

-: Ci sono poco difetti e bisogna proprio prendere la lente di ingrandimento per trovarli.Nel set da bagno anche a richiesta ( pagamento) non era disponibile un kit rasatura visto la struttura.Alcune camere erano molto penalizzate per l’acceso in spiaggia fossimo capitate in una camera di quelle ci avrebbe fatto vivere l’esperienza in modo più negativo.Ma comunque da provare

+: NovaThis review will be fairly long, as the level of care, professionalism, attention to detail and sheer joy we received is hard to put into a short review. Here’s the TL;DR before the long version:Don’t think twice, book Nova. It’ll be worth every penny, the facilities are top notch and state of the art (barely 2 years old) and the staff is the most amazing in the world.Now, let’s dive in. The experience begins with Ms Zhou at arrivals welcoming you along with the front office team. You’re shown around the island, where you see Wink (the social hub of the island), the state of the art gym, and white sand beaches. The villas are out of this world, spacious, well ACed, and with good access to the water.You don’t spend much time in the room however, because you’ll be eating at Soul Kitchen, where Evi, Bee, Sinhala, Anggi, Manoj and the wok-master himself James prepare you the best meals at restaurant level you can have. Not once do you feel like it’s a buffet, because the quality is so high. At breakfast, make sure to grab a sweet bite from the pastry chef Ms. Bee, or a perfectly cooked each time eggs Benedict from Anggi.At lunch or dinner, be sure to get a live-cooking rice from James, Sinhala or Manoj - the wok hei taste is something that you cannot replicate without their years of experience. Big shout out to Chef James for helping me build up my spice tolerance.The state of the art cooking is supplemented by the attentive staff, who don’t let a day pass by without pampering you. Huge thanks to the entire team, especially Mohammed, Shaee, Jailam, Angunn, Lee, Heidi, Fitri, Kadek and of course Muneeb.When catching the sunset in the Solis Pool Bar, a cocktail from one of Sri Lanka’s best - Sandun - is a must. (Though the first place is closely tied with Krishan from Wink, also Sri Lanka). Sandun makes the perfect cocktails, easily carries the conversation and has insightful comments.Wink - the social hub of the entire island.

-: The departure logistics were a little less than optimal. Before booking when speaking with the hotel, we were informed that seaplanes from the island depart up to 5:00 pm, and that this shouldn’t be a problem. With this information, we booked the 11:00 pm flight, but had a seaplane transfer at 15:45 pm. Dropped off at the airport in Malé 4 hours before check-in even opened, we were stranded with nothing to do, now where to go, and had to just wait in suboptimal conditions. Total waiting time at the airport was over 7 hours, and it left a very bitter feeling at the end of the most wonderful vacation. There is a lot of debris and trash in the reef around the island - from plastic gloves to concrete bags, to empty canisters and tons of plastic. This was a shame to see, but we’ve been told that re-coralisation is being done. A beachunderwater cleanup from time to time would be a good idea.
