+: Our stay at Reethi Beach Resort was nothing short of magical! The location and accommodation is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so incredibly lovely!We stayed in one of the stunning over-water villas and were able to step off our balcony into the turquoise blue ocean, where just underneath the surface was one of the most beautiful and healthy reefs we've ever seen (and we're from Australia with the Great Barrier Reef). On the house reef alone there were 1000s of beautiful tropical fish, turtles, reef sharks, dolphins, and even manta rays!The staff go above and beyond to make your stay as wonderful as possible! Some key angels on the island include:At the Moodoo Bar and Restaurant (beautiful over-water restaurant): Rayan, Emee, Reefa, Ali and ChandraAt the Coconut Spa: Shivali and her wonderful teamAt the bar: The sweetest bartender PriyaAnd the managers Dammi and GaurangThe food and drink on the island was absolutely delicious and there was such a wide range of it too! Would highly recommend the private beach dinner and sunrise breakfast, as well as the wine pairing dinner and beach BBQ. We went with the breakfast only package which worked really well for us as we could dine wherever we liked (which was more often than not the Moodoo bar where the lovely and friendly staff were).The only point of feedback was that the dive centre is quite disorganised and not great at communicating. We came during the first weekend of August for the manta ray cyclone at Baa Atoll and were unfortunately unable to see the cyclone due to the lack of communication from the dive centre. However, Barney almost made up for it with the incredible night snorkelling with a 10m whale shark! In any case, the snorkelling and freediving on the house reef was spectacular. Also, the mattresses in the villas could be made softer.We are hoping to come back to the Maldives soon and will now always stay at Reethi Beach Resort as our holiday there was that magical.

+: I would like to mention that this hotel has a wonderful team who makes you feel special all the time. They are really excellent professionals and very nice people. I cannot mention all but special gratitude to the service received by Chef Binara Anarul, Dammi, Farish Mukhthar, Majid and Faloo. The beach is fantastic and the reef is very good to see many different type of fishes, reef sharks, eagle mantas, turtles sometimes... If you like diving, the The Fanatic Ocean Diving Center lead by Barney works very well. They are very flexible and have 2 o 3 dives a day which is great if you have the budget to do so everyday during a week. The Ladies managing the Spa Center are also wonderful. I really recommend the Balinese Massage (1hour and 10 minutes) for 126 USD. You also have a good gym, 2 tennis courts, swimming pool...

-: Maybe it would be great to have included the Wifi... at the end we are taking about a high standard type of experience. It is not so good to pay extra for your own router to have internet in your room for example. However, it is compensated somehow as there are common areas where you can use internet for free. At night, they could also increase the offer to be amused after dinner. I missed more alternatives from 20.30 to 23.30 or so.

+: Les + :- les plongées : tout le staff du dive center est très sympa, ils vous emmèneront en bateau sur les meilleurs sites de plongée (mantas, requins gris, etc) et feront leurs meilleurs efforts pour diversifier les sites. Mon fils a passé son junior open water, son instructeur Samau était vraiment sympa, attentif et patient.- Le buffet restaurant : la cuisine est excellente, tous les plats sont préparés sur place avec des produits frais, très variés (en une semaine nous n’avons jamais revu un même plat), tout le staff du restaurant est extraordinairement attentif et gentil. Inutile d’aller ailleurs qu’au buffet. Nous avions pris des formules full board que nous recommandons. Le chef a préparé chaque jour des plats qui convenaient à mon fils très capricieux difficile.- La plage et les fonds marins autour de l’île sont remarquables ! En quelques coups de palme nous avons pu voir des raies aigles, raies pastenagues, de petits requins à pointe noire, deux requins nourrice, des tortues… les récifs sont très beaux aussi, le mieux étant d’aller vers la jetée entre le dive center et le Mobu restaurant en fin de journée.- Les chambres : nous avions 2 villas deluxe sur la plage. La literie est très confortable, les chambres propres, calmes et spacieuses, correctement décorées mais sans plus, les salles de bains sont ok mais pourraient être mieux, plus grandes et mieux rénovées (quelques carreaux qui datent non remplacés). J’ai apprécié d’avoir un balai pour enlever le sable à ma convenance, de l’eau filtrée en quantité suffisante dans les chambres, des matelas de plage dans les chambres pour une utilisation privée. La climatisation était légèrement bruyante dans notre chambre. Nous avions devant chacune de nos villas une balancelle et deux chaises longues en bois.- Le bar est agréable, avec du sable au sol, et les cocktails sont corrects (les boissons sont un peu chères mais en ligne avec les autres resorts). Les serveurs sont ok.

-: Les - : - La piscine est un peu petite, vieillotte et enfouie dans la végétation, résultat quelques moustiques agressifs nous tournaient autour. - La salle de sport est correctement équipée mais pas très agréable

+: The kinda hidden restaurant in the middle of the island had fantastic food and we met some great employees there.

-: Thought the whole trip to this island was a complete waste of money. Sunsets were okay nothing spectacular. The snorkelingdiving company ruined our trip and tried to convince us that there weren’t any Manta Rays to go snorkel with the one free day we had when we were there. The day we left the sea plane pilot showed us a video of all of the Manta Rays the day we were supposed to go snorkeling with them. We were beyond pissed after him showing us this as we specifically went to this islandatoll area to go see and snorkel with the Manta Rays. Hotel refused to refund us any money for our stay for the whole Manta Ray debacle. Don’t waste your time or money going here. Sea plane cost alone isn’t worth going to this island. Plus, at least when we were there, there were many Russian hotel guests. Eww no thanks.

+: The resort is a absolute gem. It is situated on a small Island covered in lush vegetation which is very welcome in the hot and humid climate. The resort was kept spotless clean at all times. The resorts bars and restaurants are very nice with a wide variety of choice for all tastes. The staff in general are very professional and helpful, with a special mention of Faloo at the main bar with his friendliness, jokes and a good communicator.

-: The sunrise villa's are vey nice tucked away under lush vegetation, but are very dark inside due to the dark ceiling and hardwood floors. The floors could be very dangerous and slippery, specially with wet feed. There is a step between the lounge and the bedroom section which is very dangerous even with the small floor light on. My suggestion would be to stick a small fluoressant strip which will help a lot. The price of the sea plane from Male to the resort is exorbitant. The 12 hour flight from South Africa cost 702 US$ and the 20 minute sea plane trip to the resort cost 490 US$. The price is fixed by the resort and cannot be booked directly with the seaplane company. A German tourist mentioned she paid US$ 192 booked trough her travel agent.

+: This was a resort holiday. The accommodation was an over water bungalow. So a new experience for us. Housekeeping staff were very good. Accommodation was spacious and well presented.

+: The food and variety at the main restaurant were exceptional as was service at the bar and Reception. The room service was very good and Shakir was very friendly and informative-also good at maintenance.

-: Toilet seat was not the correct size and the cover fell off. The towel rail came away from the wall-promptly fixed by Shakir. The general condition of the villa left the impression that it was tired and in need of a complete overhaul. We felt that the Sunset Beach BBQ could have been held earlier and the food was not up to the standard of the main restaurant-we felt that due to this, it was over priced.

+: I recently had the most incredible stay at Reethi Beach Resort and I can't wait to share my amazing experience! From start to finish, everything was just perfect. Firstly, the room was exceptionally comfortable with a cozy bed and beautiful décor. The hotel's amenities were outstanding; the spa was a tranquil oasis and they also had a gift shop. What truly made my stay unforgettable were the local trips organized by the hotel. I went snorkeling and got to see dolphins up close—it was really magical. Plus, the hotel is located right next to a nice coral reef, which made exploring the underwater world incredibly convenient and breathtaking. The staff was exceptional. They were incredibly kind and always responded promptly to any requests I had. Every morning and evening, they delivered complimentary bottles of water to my room, which was a thoughtful touch. To top it all off, the hotel surprised us with a special barbecue dinner one evening—an absolute highlight of the trip! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was delicious. (Try out the lamb and the sea food). During my stay, I made a new friend named Faloo, who works at the hotel. Faloo not only offered us a great service every day, but also shared fascinating insights about the local environment and culture. It was wonderful to connect with someone so friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, I highly recommend Reethi Beach Resort for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, exceptional service, and unforgettable experiences. Thank you to the entire team at Reethi Beach Resort for making my stay truly memorable.

-: From start to finish, everything was just perfect.

+: I like everything! The island and beach was amazing with a nice coral reef where we saw mantas, a turtle and many nice fishes. The room was super clean, big and comfortable with a nice open bathroom. Facilities like pool and main bar were very nice.The karaoke night was funny and dive center had two nice excursions that we did...one for snorkeling with turtles and one for snorkeling at reethi Island where we saw sharks and turtles too. Possibly I could like more options for group activities for snorkeling.The beach was very clean ad well as all the island. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with many types of food every day. Staff was very efficient and nice. I loved the surprise for my birthday...it was really unexpected!We really relaxed and we will miss reethi beach resort!!!
