+: The view was nice. The hammocks! Staff was friendly and mostly helpful. Access to 2 other restaurants at the sister properties was nice, but food was very similar and you do not have access to any of their facilities.

-: It was fairly run down for a “luxury” property. (the 2 pools are very basic, one of our sinks didn’t drain, the toilet needed to be flushed multiple times to get even just liquid down *we did not flush toilet paper as instructed, the water in the shower was never hot, we were lucky to get warm water). The amenities were lacking, supplies seemed to be low (even though the included breakfast was supposed to include orange juice, they did not have orange juice available any mornings of our stay, there was a “bakery basket” they mentioned a few pastries; the mentioned cinnamon rolls were never available, and the croissants were not available by the 4th morning of our 8 day trip - although the super nice waiter ran down to the sister property to grab us a few on our last morning, which was truly appreciated). When we arrived they let us know that the air conditioning was off bc they were finishing up working on it, but it would be back on in 30 minutes or so from our arrival. (It finally came on about 2.5 hrs later). The next day it was off for another 6 hours or so, when I asked about it being off again I was told they were finishing up a few things, but it would only be off for 2 hours that day (obviously the work did not happen in 2 hrs). Then a day after that, the ac went off around 11:30pm, was off all night, and did not come back on until about 10:30 the next morning. When I asked the front desk about any compensation for not having ac in our “luxury accommodations with ac” for more than 13 of our trip, I was just told flat out no. This last point did not affect my rating, but is just more of a heads up, which I wish I had known. The sargassum, which I was expecting based on their communication (which I appreciated) was more than just seaweed on the beach. It was RANK! I did not realize it smelled so bad! It was very difficult to sit and appreciate the beach bc of the smell. 🤢

+: La comida estuvo increíble; específicamente el ceviche, la pizza margarita 🤤 el desayuno que venía incluído estuvo bien 👍🏼... La atención del personal perfecta y muy amables 👏👏👏 Dalia, Aaron entre otros... Por último; el detalle de ser nuestro 8° aniversario y asignar la habitación #8 le encantó a mi esposa!!! 👏👏🤩

+: The rooms were very clean and nice, great staff always willing to help with any questions, a nice place away from all the crowds. Always enjoyed the free breakfast that was included with the stay.

-: The only thing was that you really couldn't go out into the water due the the reef and rocks. Otherwise it was beautiful. We just went to a beach club up the road about 20 minutes,

-: Considero que a pesar de mantenerlo muy natural podrian con el mismo arrecife generar un spot o espacio de playa para disfrutar mas el hotel. Yo tuve q moverme a otro sitio cuando preferia pasar mis estancia completa en el alojamiento para poder darme un baño de playa. La atencion del personal buena pero en algunos casos creo que pueden ser mas amables y sonrientes y hacer propuestas a los clientes para que consuman mas.
