It offers a whirlpool, fitness centre and tennis courts. The Hyatt Regency Mérida offers contemporary rooms with a marble bath and plush robes. Satellite TV, an in-room coffee maker and a minibar are included. Peregrina Bistro serves local and international cuisine while the Amuza Social Food bar-restaurant serves creative Latin American dishes which are ideal for sharing. The lobby lounge, Cielito Lindo, offers specialty cocktails. There is also a poolside snack bar. The Mérida Hyatt is less than 10 km from the Lic M. Crecencio Rejon International Airport and 1 km from the Anthropology Museum.

-: Climatisation trop bruyante, chambre vétuste, il y a eu une coupure d’électricité nous sommes restés coincés dans l’ascenseur avec nos deux jeunes enfants, le jour du départ à 8h téléphone de la réception et femme de chambre qui toque à la chambre pour effectuer le nettoyage !!!!

-: My stay at Residence Inn Merida - Marriott was far from enjoyable. The exterior of the building was undergoing extensive renovation, draped in scaffolding and protective coverings, signaling ongoing construction. The surrounding area was filled with dust and commotion, far from the serene atmosphere one seeks on a holiday. Upon entering the hotel, the overpowering chemical fragrances immediately caused us to cough, making it clear that the indoor environment was far from welcoming or comfortable. Disappointed and uncomfortable, we decided not to stay and requested a refund. However, the hotel directed us to contact booking.com, the platform through which we made our reservation. Despite months of attempting to resolve the issue through booking.com, we encountered frustration as they redirected us back to the hotel, engaging us in a frustrating game of passing responsibility back and forth. As a loyal customer to Marriott and a frequent user of booking.com for my travel accommodations, this experience left me deeply disappointed. Neither the hotel nor the booking platform seemed genuinely concerned about addressing our concerns or providing a satisfactory resolution. Given this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend staying at Residence Inn Merida - Marriott or booking through booking.com.

+: Friendly check-in staff. Large room with a good mattress. Wi-Fi was free and available throughout the property. Big screen TV and plenty of Spanish-language channels to choose from. An excellent location, within walking distance (2km: better done in the morning before it gets really hot) of the Central Plaza and colonial center. Only 400m from Walmart. I was able to extend my checkout to 1 p.m. Another 400m down Calle 60 puts you into a complex of excellent restaurants.
-: Gym is so-so. Lobby has a bakerycoffee shop and a fine-dine Italian restaurant only . . . could have done with another F&B outlet on premises. No on-premise shopping center, but there's one literally across the street, so that's not a major issue.
