Located in the Medina of Tunis, 12 km from Tunis-Carthage international airport, Dar Ben Gacem is a traditional-style accommodation which offers free Wi-Fi access and a terrace overlooking the city. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Tunisian style. Each room features air conditioning, a TV with satellite channels and an en suite bathroom with a shower. A breakfast is provided every morning at Dar Ben Gacem. Guests can enjoy it on the terrace as well as in the traditional lounge on the patio. Dar Ben Gacem is a 20-minute drive from Carthage golf course and 14 km from Sidi Boussaid Port.

+: Het vriendelijke personeel. Mooie kamer. Heel authentiek huis (hotel). Prachtig ingericht. Midden in het oude centrum.
-: Alles beviel! Als je langer dan 1.80 bent, zijn sommige kamers niet geschikt, omdat het bed van muur tot muur gaat.

+: Superb guest house (boutique-like accommodation) with a traditional and unique design of the rooms and the common areas, including the terrace; great location; rich breakfast (no other restaurant services provided); staff very welcoming and ready to assist - special thanks to Wassim who helped me purchase the missing piece of the camera.
-: Internet connection not great but manageable, the internal courtyard has great potential... I cannot remember any downside, which is a + to the guest house.

+: Colazione salata e dolce eccellente. Staff gentilissimo ed elegante. Il Dar è come stare a casa propria, con la possibilità di lasciare la porta aperta perché non esiste la cultura del possesso nè della violazione della privacy
