+: The beach and pool were nice and the music was enjoyable. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Most of the food was good however the service could be a little faster. One of our child's shoes went missing from the room surprisingly as it turned out to be taken by one of the cleaning staff but luckily returned the next day.

-: The food options could have been better sometimes at lunch and dinner as it was a little repetitive. For the baby they would cook as per what we needed however so that was positive. The hawkers at the beach could be annoying sometimes and sometimes deterred from staying on the beach. We had kept food in the room fridge however found it to be cleaned out the next day which was surprising.

+: The pool and the location right in front of the ocean

-: There are holes in the roof in the dinning area. You can see the crows putting their beak in the food. The property isn’t well maintained. They don’t bother fixing basic stuff. There was a massive hole on the tiles in the room 404 that they didn’t bother fixing. the door of the shelves in the room was hanging, again didn’t bother fixing it. Not paying attention to details The quality of the food is average. The staff barely speaks English and their uniforms are dirty, and that’s ok if you chose to stay in a local accomodation or guest house but all these definitely not to a level of a 4 star hotel and the price they charge. EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT THEY OFFER DO YOURSELF A FAVOR PAY A BIT EXTRA AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE

+: Foods was very good, beach and view were stunning, most of staffs were helpful and friendly. What a nice touch is that they provided shower room after excursion even after checked out

-: We were three, but they only provided towels for two and there were no mosquito nets for the first night, and the mosquito bites were killing me the entire night.

+: Overall, we had a great stay at sandies baobab beach zanzibar Here are some of the things we liked most about the hotel: The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They spoke English fluently and were always happy to help us with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and fresh. The views from the hotel were amazing. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. The hotel was located in a great location. It was close to all of the major attractions, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

-: The only thing we didn't like about the hotel was the food: The food at the hotel was not bad, but it wasn't great either. We found that the menu was a bit limited, and the food was not always cooked to our liking.

+: Läget var bra, och de sociala ytorna var charmiga med halmtak. Underbar utsikt från så väl solstolar som restaurang.Buffén var bra för priset, men naturligtvis dyrare och lite sämre än att äta utanför hotellet, som alltid.

-: Hotellet var generellt sett slitet, rummen var gammeldags och med små fönster.Personalen var inte lika välkomnande på andra hotell vi bott på i Zanzibar, men vissa var mycket trevliga.Notera att grannhotellet håller på att byggas om, vilket skapar ett stort oväsen, men det kan ju såklart Sandies inte styra över.Däremot så kan de styra över utcheckningen, som lämnade mycket att önska.När vi skulle betala innestående köp som vi gjort på hotellets restaurang och bar, stod det en post som vi inte kände igen och bad att få se notan på. Personalen försökte under 40 minuter leta reda på kvittot, erbjöd efter halva tiden att göra ett avdrag på halva summan (varför just halva framgick inte). Sedan kom de helt plötsligt med en annan lista med helt andra köp de menade på att vi hade gjort.Då gav vi upp och betalade det de krävde (plus att vi fick betala extra till vår taxichaufför som också tvingats vänta i 40 minuter).Baserat på detta kan jag inte rekommendera detta hotell till någon person som avser att använda sig utav deras bar eller restaurang.
