+: We can not say enough good things about Hotel Garni Lavendal! The location is excellent. A bit out of busynoisy town but with everything you need right near by, including 2 great Italian restaurants, a lift that gets you up to the main ski area, 2 ski rentals and a lovely wine bardeli. The centre of town is only about 3-400m away so an easy walk if you want to go to the bars and other restaurants. The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are very comfortable. The shower was amazing - we both agreed we didn't want to get out. The breakfast was brilliant. Has a full range of cold items plus hot breakfast to order. There is a delicious fresh cake baked every day. They even went so far as to get my daughter the gluten-free bread she needs. they offer a range of snacks and drinks that you can access self-service and use the honour system to pay. Meant I could enjoy an early coffee every morning. Keeping the whole thing running beautifully is the owner, Caroline and her mother and family. They all made us feel so welcome - as if we had been coming there for years. They were extremely helpful with advice and solving any issues we had. It is because they're hospitality that we hope to return to Lavendel many more times! Thank you Caroline!
