This family-run hotel garni is located in a quiet side street in the centre of Mayrhofen, opposite the Zillertal-Congress Europahaus. The non-smoking Hotel Maria Theresia offers spacious rooms with cable TV and balconies. In the morning, a rich breakfast buffet with hot and cold dishes is available. Hotel Maria Theresia features a sauna and a steam bath. Chiropractic treatments are available on site. The sauna and the steam bath are available free of charge from beginning of November to beginning of April. There is also an underground car park, which has limited space. A sun terrace, and a spacious garden with a sunbathing lawn are also provided. An internet terminal with WiFi can be found in the lobby of the Maria Theresia.

-: A bit far from penken,but there's a ski bus station just outside the hotel.

-: I had to unpack my snowboard from inside my suitcase before going to my room, which is quite difficult to do as I had all my other clothing neatly packed on top of it. I would have taken it from the room immediately after unpacking and placed it in their locker area, but this was not an option, which I did not appreciate, nor was it explicitly clear upon booking. On my final day, the owner came towards me, appearing frustrated, telling me that my snowboard was not allowed in my room. I understand why this can be a concern for them however there are some circumstances (packingunpacking) where it is feasible for them to go into the room.

+: Lovely breakfast and great staff. They installed a new security system for the ski room this week, so the door isn't open anymore and everyone could just walk in.
-: It's a little far from the slopes, but the ski bus stops almost in front of the hotel. Ski room is extremely hot.
