+: Zeer vriendelijke personeel, op ons verzoek de kamer nogmaals schoongemaakt en hoewel het resort echt verouderd is hebben ze alles binnen hun kunnen gedaan om ons een goed verblijf te geven. Ze hebben een snorkeltocht met locale catamaranvisser geregeld en we zijn uiteindelijk een extra nacht gebleven.

-: Trincomalee heeft een bewogen geschiedenis en hier moet je je op instellen bij bezoek. Veel hotels hebben wat onderhoud nodig en er zijn zaken aan vervanging toe. Het personeel en de manager hebben dit voor ons meer dan goed gemaakt in hun hulpvaardigheid.Langs de glazen deuren komen veel insecten binnen, ons op vraag verkregen muskietennet hielp flink

+: Auf den ersten Blick eine schöne Anlage. Hilfsbereites Personal, welches teilweise auch deutsch spricht.

-: Etwas herrunter gekommen. Balkongeländer färben ab, Türen klemmen. Zimmer und Bad nur oberflächlich geputzt. Keine Abwechslung beim Frühstück. Teilweise Kakerlaken in den Zimmern.

+: Ruhige Lage, geräumiges Zimmer und sehr nettes Personal.

-: Der Wasserdruck der Dusche war eine Katastrophe.

+: Size of the room was good however that is where the positive feedback ends.

-: Immediately on arrival at the “resort” there was an ill feeling. The staff didn’t seem to be expecting us and our room wasn’t ready despite being the only guests at that point and arriving after check in time. Once in the room the door wouldn’t lock from the inside this wouldn’t have been a massive issue if future events had not developed. The room was not clean nor was the bedding. The mattress was ripped and dirty in several places and the sheets were too small and therefore did not cover this. There was a hole in the bathroom window meshing which let a lot of insects in. Furthermore, the window itself was not covered by a blind so if anyone walked past they would have been able to look in. The shower was in poor condition this was changed mid way through our stay without us being told which was concerning. It is completely understandable that there will be insects due to the nature of the location, however during our stay we went through around 4 cans of large bug spray as there were so many gaps in the room which constantly lead to it being full of cockroaches and ants. There was no Wi-Fi in the room only in reception despite it being advertised. Each night the staff, a large group of men, would congregate in a bench directly in front of our room talking loudly until late. At this point I must stress it was difficult to know who was working at the hotel and who wasn’t, as local people seemed to come and go as they pleased. This lead to a very strange and unnerving atmosphere. Staff seemed surprised when we requested clean towels or beach towels. The location was so isolated that no tuk tuk drivers even knew where it was. We actually spent most of the time at surrounding beaches from early in the morning until late at night just to avoid being in the resort and the room.

-: La cama estaba cubierta por dos sábanas simples, al igual que para taparte, así que podías acabar durmiendo directamente sobre el colchón , cosa poco recomendableLas fundas de las almohadas estaban muy viejas y rotas y veías perfectamente lo sucias que estaban las almohadas. Así que pedimos fundas para las almohadas y nos dieron almohadas y fundas nuevas. No entiendo como teniendo almohadas nuevas podían dejar esas almohadas y fundas roñosas en la habitaciónTambién tuvimos que pedir una pastilla de jabón El primer día no funcionaba el agua caliente Hay una mezquita cerca que te despierta a las 6 de la mañanaEl lavabo estaba sucioA quien pagamos la estancia , se hizo el loco a la hora de devolvernos el cambio y lo tuvimos que reclamarClara falta de mantenimiento de la habitación , múltiples cosas rotas y sin reparar

+: Lugar precioso con unas vistas increíbles a la laguna, cerca de la playa donde hicimos snorkel a unos 20 min en tuk tuk de trincomale, el personal encantador incluso jugamos con ellos a un juego típico de Sri Lanka nos hicieron la estancia muy amena, recomendable lugar tranquilo y el desayuno muy completo.
