Wakacje i ceny wakacji w hotelu Sun Siyam Pasikudah (ex. Sun Aqua Passikudah) 5* 2024-2025 Sri Lanka, Pasikuda

+: They have recently refurbished the place, and it has been done to a very good standard. As you walk through it is stunning, the view opens out to the pool, and then the sea beyond. They have a little kids area with a kiddy pool too, it is basic, but our kids enjoyed playing in there. The beach was great for the kids, and one beach over there is a public beach where we got sand toys for the kids. My husband was pleased with the food. They were kind enough to do us a packed breakfast on the day we left as we left early, it was lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive and tried there best to help in any way that they could. I was unfortunately ill (happened prior to my arrival), and the staff were wonderful. Made sure that I got food delivered to the room, checked in on me, checked with my husband how I was doing, and even arranged for a doctor to come and visit. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

-: Unfortunately, despite having a wine room, many of the bottles on the menu were not available when my husband tried to order them. There were a couple of moments when we noticed dropped food (by other guests) was left and not cleaned quickly which brings the ants (such as in the kids play area) - a little more attention to detail here would have been good. There is no shade over the pool, so when it is hot season it is HOT, and it feels like a bath. There is also no shade on the baby pool either - that would have been especially helpful. Not the hotel's fault - but there are little ants that give a nasty bite. Unfortunately, I had one day where I was sitting at the pool side bar and unbeknown to me they were all over my chair and I got bitten badly. Once staff were notified they did address it. We also got some stings on our feet in the sand on the beach in the evenings - not sure what they were... maybe the ants again, or sand flies. Again, nothing the hotel can do, but just good to know!

+: Tolle gepflegte Anlage direkt am Strand. Die Bungalows sind sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Viele Liegemöglichkeiten am Pool und am Strand. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, allerdings gab es auch hier nur Sri Lankanisches Kaffee.

-: Der Pool war leider viel zu warm, eine Erfrischung war hier leider nicht möglich. Leider gab es kein Moskitonetz und auch keine Möglichkeit ein eigenes Netz aufzuhängen. In einem 5 Sterne Hotel, in einem Land mit durch Moskitos übertragenen Krankheiten, sollte dies jedoch Standard sein. Es gab zwar einen elektrischen Verdampfer gegen Moskitos jedoch hatten wir trotzdem einige Stiche. Wir reisen sehr viel und haben in Sri Lanka in verschiedenen Unterkünften, auch deutlich günstigeren und einfacheren übernachtet. Dort gab es entweder ein Netzt oder man konnte ein eigenes Netz aufhängen, wodurch wir nie einen Moskitostich hatten. An einigen Stellen hatte das Zimmer unserer Meinung nach keinen 5 Sterne Standard. Die Glastüre an der Toilette hat nicht richtig geschlossen. Wenn man das Zimmer verlassen hat und die Karte herausgezogen hatte, ging sofort das Licht aus. Auch vor dem Zimmer konnte ohne Zimmerkarte kein Licht angeschaltet werden, man stand immer komplett im Dunkeln. Die Strandbar war bei uns (obwohl Hochsaison) nicht in Betrieb. Unsere Cocktails waren unterirdisch (kein Eis, keine Deko...). Hier erwarten wir in einem 5 Sterne Hotel einen deutlich besser Standard. Was uns sehr überrascht hat war die Abrechnung beim Checkout. Das Hotel hat ein Projekt für verwaiste Elefanten,das man als Gast über Spenden unterstützten kann. Dies würde uns mehrfach angepriesen, ebenfalls beim Checkout. Wir haben dies verneint, dennoch stand die Spende automatisch auf unserer Rechnung.

+: נוף מדהים, חדרים ענקיים ומרווחים וצוות מאוד שירותי כולל מנהל המלון. ארוחות ערב טובות. שטחים ציבוריים מטופחים מאוד

-: ארוחת בוקר לא מתאימה למערביים ומעט אפשרויות. הגבינות לא היו בקירור והחמיצו והתקלקלו. אפשר לשפר את הנקיון בחדרים.אבק וחלונות לא נקיים. החוף לא מתאים לרחצה מאוד מסולע אם כי רדוד מאוד. צריך להביא נעלי מים מתאימות

+: The setting is very tranquil, and the rooms are of an excellently high standard. The food is very good quality, with a vast selection to choose from and the staff could not be more attentive.

-: The beach directly in front of the hotel is home to many crustaceans which deters you from swimming.

𝖠𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖻𝗎𝖿𝖿𝖾 area there is a 𝗐𝗂𝗇𝖾 𝖼𝖾𝗅𝗅𝖺𝗋 with an impressive collection of wines and champagnes. For sophisticated guests, having a glass of Dom Perignon at sunset of the outgoing day is perfect!Whole hotel makes with love, so you may not worried about something, the hospitality staff will always help you. Today it is one of the best hotels on the island of Sri Lanka, so your are always welcome!

+: Very spacious and clean. The room was air conditioned and the facilities were adequate for an all in one stay. The pool is massive with lots of sun chairs and they serve your snacks and drinks at the pool. The pool is hot for someone who prefers cooler waters. The beach front location is nice. Food is great with buffet style breakfast and dinner. The staff are super friendly with moderate English. The manager speaks English very well.

+: Das Hotel wurde vor kurzem renoviert und hat eine liebevolle Einrichtung. Die Zimmer waren extrem geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Der Strand zum Hotel war gepflegt und es gab eine große Auswahl an Liegen (auch im Schatten).Wir kommen gerne wieder!

+: Ötökkävapaa huone. Hotelli sijaitsee mukavan rannan tuntumassa, jossa ei ole aaltoja. Huoneissa mukavasti luksusta. Omistaja piti huolta jokaisesta asiakkaasta.

-: Ranta on koko matkan vaan polviin saakka vettä. Linnut häiritsivät kokoajan ravintolassa. Osa hotellin valoista oli rikki. Vedenpaine huono esim. ammetta sai täyttää tosi kauan. Rantabaari ei ollut ollenkaan auki, vasta sitten aukeni kun kun tuli bussillinen muuta porukkaa. Juomat todella ylihintaisia. Allas lämmitetty liian kuumaksi.

+: Ein 5 Sterne Haus ? Ok ich habe es nicht so empfunden . Eine schöne Anlage eigentlich . Die Zimmer groß . Das Bett sehr bequem aber nicht gemütlich . Das essen gut . Das Personal freundlich .

-: Mein Reisepartner ist Einheimischer . Beide waren wir im Hotel angemeldet . Wir reisten mit dem Auto an . Meinen Partner wollte man in die Fahrer Unterkunft schicken . Das geht garnicht !! Das Personal sollte informiert sein wer anreist . 5 Sterne?Der Pool war viel zu warm . Der Balkon unseres Zimmers war voller Affenpisse und Ameisen .
