+: Location is really good, walking distance to many places (Paseo Montejo, Merida’s cathedral, museums, restaurants, coffee shops). Staff is super nice and friendly. The room is really cozy and spacious, with a nice kitchenette with a fridge, and a dining area. When we entered our room a bowl with apples and mangoes was waiting for us on the table, and inside the fridge were 2 cold beers, great to refresh from Merida’s hot weather.
-: Internet connection is really bad. The silver lining of this is that you can disconnect from social media and really enjoy your vacay. The other thing I didn’t like was the living room chairs’ cushions, they look cute but are not comfy at all.

+: penthouse has really nice terrace. only one small bathroom so although two beds don’t think suitable for more than one couple.
-: lack of welcome drink. towels not great quality or generous . silly door system means you have to be let out and in. we thought expensive especially as breakfast not included
