+: Love the hotel design. We had a huge room due to an upgrade. Comfy facilities.

+: De kamers zijn ruim en het douchen was heerlijk.De airco 's waren stil.Het zwemwater was iets minder door het slechte weer.De locatie was net buiten het centrum en lekker rustig.Parkeren kon op een prive plaats naast het hotel.In de buurt waren verschillende ontbijt tenten.

+: This is actually part one of "What didn't you like." There is not enough room to detail everything that was not good so I will start here. There were a number of issues and, while the staff was prepared to address the issues to the best of their ability, they should not have occurred in the first place. Upon arrival the floors were filthy, walking on them in bare feet left our feet black within 5 minutes. The AC in the main room did not work properly and never blew cold air into the room (it was not fixed in the week we were there). The best it did was "leak" cold air so we left it on at the coldest setting for the entire 8 days. The freezer in the fridge stopped working and everything we had in the freezer thawed out. This was fixed while we were there. The apartment had full kitchen, however: it was not equipped with the utensils to use the kitchen - we had to buy a pot to boil water.

-: The internet was terrible. We never could hook up to the in room router (even using a cable connection). The access to other routers via wifi was poor to nonexistent depending on the time of the day. The in-room hot tub is nothing more than a small jetted bathtub in the living room. We looked at it and knew the contortions it would take for two of us to manage to get into it made it less than appealing. Plus it would require a small stepladder to get into and especially out of it safely. Our room was the fourth floor of the hotel. This was a four story walkup. Our fault for not checking, however; as persons well into their sixties, this proved to be a bit of an arduous climb multiple times a day. As well the top of the stairs (these are exterior stairs coming up the courtyard side of the hotel) There was a small palapa roof covering, where two bats had taken up residence. They were cute to look at, but for the entire stay no one cleaned up the ever increasing splatters of bat poop on the stairs. The furniture (other than the beds) was very uncomfortable. Horrible is the word my wife used to describe them. We were offered another room (two adjoining rooms) However; we had paid for the penthouse suite and there was no offer to refund even a portion of what we spent for "the best room in the hotel." And, while we did not experience the nose level in the other rooms, we can only imagine it would have been terrible. Being just 2 blocks from 5th Avenue and what seemed to be the loudest night club on the strip, the noise level was disturbing even up one floor and faced away from the direction the music was coming from.
