My sister slipped and fractured her shoulder due to the faulty air unit leaking in the room. We lost a whole day at the hospital and the hotel didn’t even offer compensation for the day we lost.

+: The property is huge maybe even too big for its own good. There are many pool options and different restaurants to try. Hotel staff are super friendly especially in the restaurants
-: - Upon check in "Brenda" tried to scam me into paying $2,000 for a $1,100 reservation saying it was environmental fees. She showed me one invoice and when I raised my voice and threatened to leave she immediately presented a different invoice with the correct price. Then she tells me they only have 1 king bed left when I booked 2 queens. There was no explanation about the resort or how things worked. The check in Process took almost 45 minutes and it was agonizing in the heat. - Outdated rooms. The flat screen tv is from the 90's, broken telephone, no trash cans, room always felt damp.- Tried to order room service the first day to find out it was not included and they wanted to charge me $100 for breakfast for 2.-It's so far to get food. You walk 20 minutes to the lobby restaurants or wait for a shuttle.-The food is definitely not 5-Star and we both got sick on the first day. They had some crazy looking stuff at the buffet like wonton soup but with cheese ravioli instead of wontons and the shrimp tempura at the Miso restaurant was so hard I almost cracked a tooth.
