+: We were allocated to the 7th floor. The next morning we woke up at 8 am by extreme drilling noise. We called the receptionist in shock and we were told by the guy receptionist that it was only for an hour and it was only for a day. We woke up to horror the next morning again at the same time due to the drilling noise. This time I called the receptionist in sheer panic as my wife had a panic attack by the sudden loud noise. The lady receptionist, told me there is nothing she can do about it. I asked if she could change the rooms. She said she could do nothing and hung up the call in my face. I was shocked and called again to ask why would she hang up like that. She again told me that if I wanted I could change the hotel but she could not change the room. And as the payment has already been made there is no refund policy. It’s up to me if I want to stay or leave the hotel. I tried to have a conversation about their refund policy but she stopped me and said sorry not possible and then hung up again. Then I went to the reception to have a face-to-face conversation and I told her that what she did was disrespectful and she could not treat a customer like that. The manager came and apologized for the situation and offered a room change. However, they asked us to change immediately. We had a doctor's appointment. We were put in a situation where we had to decide between the constant torture of drill noise coming right next to our room or canceling the doctor's appointment. Unfortunately, we could not bear the loud noise anymore and we had to cancel the doctor's appointment because it was more important to escape from that floor without any further delay. We were then shifted to the fifth floor where the noise was not that loud but still, we could hear the sound and it was not pleasant at all. It may be worth mentioning that the room conditions on the 7th floor were very poor, with damaged furniture, damp walls, the washroom sliding door jammed, etc.

+: The location was very central, able to easily walk everywhere. The staff were all so friendly and helpful giving us recommendations and ordering us taxis when needed. The hotel was very modern and clean. Would definitely stay here again!
